notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Gardy.... just let Gibson have the opportunity to work out of jams... this isn't even a jam. He'll never be able to go past the fifth inning if you give him the hook so quickly.
cmathewson Provisional Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Did these pitchers not get enough work in Spring Training? To a man, they have run out of gas in the 6th inning. I blame Worley. Don't give guys innings in the spring if they have zero chance of making the team. You should know that going into the spring.

notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Turn around Santana, that makes sense. He kills lefties.

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Mauer has gotten the ball out of the infield in 17% of his PA this season.Whew...and here I thought he'd been struggling.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Well a clean sixth didn't happen. But no damage done.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Oh Gardy is smarter than I am. You just got Gardenhowered

zchrz Provisional Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 97 pitches, but they should have left Gibson in there imo. He looked pretty good just needs to get the wasted pitches down. Reminded me of Baker today, nibbling or not getting close 0-2 and 1-2.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Honestly ... that looks a little like Sao PaoloAnother Cuban free agent the Twins should've signed.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2014 Author Posted April 5, 2014 These radio ads are doing their trick ... I really want some licorice, and some Sheboygan sausage, then go test drive a Taurus and stop at Kwik Trip on my way to the Harley Davidson dealership and Treasure Island Casino.

Not a gem but I'll take it.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2014 Author Posted April 5, 2014 Another Cuban free agent the Twins should've signed. Don't you start with me ... I'm doing my best trying to be at work today.

I'm okay with him coming out today. Next month in the same situation? Probably not.

Gardy has never worked his starters long enough in the spring. He has guys going 5 innings when other teams are going 7.
Physics Guy Verified Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Not that we didn't know this, but Willingham is really slow.

And just when I thought I could trust you to hold my credit card while I went swimming or something.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 It happens. Easily the most depressing thing that's ever occurred in my life.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 BTW, trade Duensing now! His value has to be at it's peak.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2014 Author Posted April 5, 2014 Easily the most depressing thing that's ever occurred in my life. Well, now you have your scale set for any future comparisons.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Also, BTW, Plouffe looks quite a bit better at third IMHO.
Fatt Crapps Provisional Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Nice looking swing by Floor-E-Mon.
