slash129 Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Got the lead and Quintana's PC is mounting ... Sox getting Escobarred ... I'll take it
Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 How'd you like to have this as your NY Times epitaph?: That is brutal. I was born in 61, but was still cognizant enough of the Mets futility to realize how remarkable it was when they won the World Series in 69.
Fatt Crapps Provisional Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 WGN producer: "Ok, maybe we should take the camera off the crazy lady."
B Richard Provisional Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Hughes has shown flashes of the guy we want him to be
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 If I'm Quintana... I am pissed. Two walks, and a terrible 0-2 pitch to Cola...you should be mostly pissed at yourself.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 There is nothing worse than listening to Hawk, other than when the Sox blow it, then it's fantastic. There is part of me that will miss Hawk when he retires. The likes of him may be never seen (heard) from again...
Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Hughes has shown flashes of the guy we want him to be Rearrange that sentence, and it will probably be closer to what we see.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 How'd you like to have this as your NY Times epitaph?: My Epitaph: I told you I was sick!!!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 How'd you like to have this as your NY Times epitaph?: Chief's Epitaph: "Only the Good Die Young... I lived to 107"
B Richard Provisional Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Rearrange that sentence, and it will probably be closer to what we see. Hughes has shown the guy we want him to be flashes. Errr wait... that's not quite right.Or legal...
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Rearrange that sentence, and it will probably be closer to what we see. What we see rearrange, and probably closer sentence that will and it be. Nope, that doesn't do it for me.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 My Epitaph: I told you I was sick!!! Mine: Wrecked em?...
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Two walks, and a terrible 0-2 pitch to Cola...you should be mostly pissed at yourself. If he was... He'd be at the mall with an weapon tomorrow.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 If he was... He'd be at the mall with an weapon tomorrow. I think that's spelled Anne.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Nice to know the Twins aren't the only ones who can play a laughable inning in the field. Due up for the Sox: Howard, Fine, and Howard. I flipped away from this comedy of errors for a hot minute, hoping for a quality upgrade from the Rochester/Buffalo opening day action. Nope. Scott Diamond has already been knocked out after just 2 innings, giving up 5 runs and 6 hits. And Santana recorded his first error (I guess AAA official scorers haven't gotten the memo yet about them being outlawed). Mastro drove in 2 runs. After 3, Bisons 5, Red Wings 2.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I'd cover my face if I was Escobar, too.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Nice play Pluffsie, and maximum style points to boot!
Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Yeah Bert, former Yankee Hughs, is nervous making his Twins debut.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Chief's Epitaph: "Only the Good Die Young... I lived to 107"Can't be true. Either that or I'm living on borrowed time.

We DO have more SP depth this year.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Nice play Pluffsie, and maximum style points to boot! I was watching a little Nats/Mets and I missed it... Do I owe him an apology?
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Is Gamecast off, or does this Ump really have a tight / inconsistent strike zone today?
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Do I owe him an apology? 2.25 years from now, possibly.
Reider Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 That was a strike out! Pinto had it right.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Is Gamecast off, or does this Ump really have a tight / inconsistent strike zone today? He does... Both sides could complain.
