    I agree, but some lineups are more talented and I see multiple factors. The Twins got hot and gained confidence that helped against the better teams, but some lineups gutted by platooning fizzed that out right quick.

    Agree with all this except during the streak the Twins jumped all over some good starters from the Mariners and Red Sox.

    Baldelli did publicly address Castro's run of snafus. He said that while the situation had been discussed, Willi had earned the benefit of the doubt with his contributions since coming here. Willi acknowledged his poor play as well.

    Personally I like the unique look of the Apple TV broadcast, some of the shots, like from behind the plate on Kirilloff's homer, are cool. It was easy to just half listen to the chatter of the crew. For whatever reason I can't just tune out Morneau, making his broadcasts my least favorite. The droning on and on. Switching to the perfect game, in the seventh inning?, that was no bueno.

    This site has been glitchy for me the last couple of days and I'm unable to successfully upload a screenshot of the umpire scorecard from yesterday. The score was +1.55 runs for Cleveland. That combined with some more defensive mishaps and a paltry 2 runs scored were the recipe for another loss. Watching the game I didn't like pulling SWR there. If the young man keeps performing well hopefully he will earn more trust. Speaking of trust, how has Okert acquired any?

    Baldelli has seemed to really appreciate Castro, the guy has given much value to the squad. Behind the scenes I'm guessing Willi got a little tough love after the game. That's enough, unless there's a continued lack of focus and giving plays away, best to just move on.

    These seem like two completely different things. I approve of the catching split hundred percent. Anything that keeps that bat of Jeffers fresh is money. Platooning? Phooey
