    With the recent move... Id love an archer/Dickerson for Kepler trade. They could chose any 3-4 prospects not named Lewis, Enlow, or graterol

    Look at his September... Great month. Back issues early in the year. Got him super cheap. Only 4th best SS prospect. Great value.

    This also opens up room to give Lewis to start in FSL with Javier in Cedar Rapids.

    Pretty much where I sit. Only 4th best SS prospect to boot. He could have a good career and Id still feel good about the value with the risk there. When the ticker said "Odorizzi to Twins for SS prospect" I thought for sure it was Nick Gordon and iffy. If it was Javier, I would've lost my mind. This was great.

    I still cant believe we got Odorizzi for Palacios and thats it. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a fine prospect, but when I saw the headliner that a SS was involved, I thought immediately it was Gordon, or worse, Javier. To give up only our 4th best SS prospect is great. Maybe they like Palacios better than Gordon, but I still take Gordon over him quite easily.

    Sub 2 ERA in his last 6 games in 2017. Back issues early in the year. No hit the Twins through 6 in September.

    Why does it seem like any shortstop prospect we ever have ends up a tweener that needs to move positions?

    It sounds like he may be in extended spring training for a couple weeks based on those quotes. Whatever sets him up for the most success is what I want, but for selfish reasons, it would be nice to watch him in Cedar Rapids.

    Conspiracy theory: He has deal in place with the Twins. Just waiting until Feb 13th so the Twins don’t have to take anyone else off 40 man roster

    It reminds me when 1%er politicians tell us that $1,000 is crumbs and that it makes no difference to us if we get it or not. Meanwhile, they have $1K dinners and spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on in flight alcohol on tax payer dimes

    Yeah for sure. A ton of young prospects too. The Cedar Rapids team could be stacked with prospects early in the season. Few guys I think could end up there: 1) Baddoo 2) Enlow 3) Lewis (perhaps, to start the year at least) 4) Javiar 5) Kiriloff 6) Graterol 7) Miranda 8) Bechtold 9) Jovani Moran 10) Leach (perhaps, late in year)

    Have a stronger bullpen has to be attractive for Darvish. I know I would love it if I had Buxton behind me and these guys coming in if I got in trouble. Is it true that insurance could cover portion of Hughes? Could we trade him to a team along with international money to take the contract off our hands?

    Agree that there’s a ton to watch this year. Some will take a step back but others could really break out and it will be a lot of fun to see

    Yep. I think they just saw too much risk with the pitchers for the #1 overall pick. I’m just glad we didn’t get the kid out of Louisville. Between him, Greene, wright and the NC kid, one of the pitchers could turn out to be a stud. Hard to say who though. Hopefully Enlow and Leach erase some of that pain though

    Individually they’re fine. We have too many of these fringe signings. Rodney makes the least amount of sense. Just my opinion So far the front office does way too much hype and then ends up doing nothing. See it in trade department and free agents. So far they have been bad in this department and the rule V draft. They did do an alright job in the rule iV draft though. I give them a B-
