  1. Awesome. Always love reading the prospect handbook. I'll have to purchase it once I settle in after all the holiday travels.
  2. Is part of baseball flexibility? Especially from the catcher position. Hope he doesn’t bulk up too much more
  3. Obviously you’d like to see kids have success in short season ball but it’s not the end of the world. Torii Hunter struggled in his first season as well. I’ll admit that those examples are the outliers but it’s far too early to give up on a kid.
  4. We’re not paying $1M. We’re paying the opportunity of spending $1M. Falvine likely didn’t see better options remaining. Still have $1M
  5. MLB.com ranks Pearson 22 in the Twins system. The mariners prospect is not listed in our top 30
  6. Can we trade our international money to Seattle? Maybe try and grab Sam Carlson?
  7. I would try him in the bullpen. Might get a couple more ticks and figure this guy out. Definitely would be worth a look
  8. Yeah judging from that list I got to think the Twins lose Diaz and Stewart. I’d like the twins try and grab Max Pentacost of the Blue Jays
  9. Could we trade any of these guys are international money to sign Otani?
  10. I actually like Rotroverdt. I would have him probably in the 10-15 range. He was challenged by being in low A ball. From all reports his defense was ahead of schedule. At the beginning of the seasons his bat wasn’t there but then it clicked in the 2nd half. Would like to see him continue that momentum into next season
  11. Surprised you don’t have Leach higher given his draft status
  12. I bet LA wish they paid a bit more for Dozier right about now.
  13. We have control over a lot of pitchers through 2023 that don’t necessarily build for the future. Love a guy like Chargois but I wouldn’t trade a player like Dozier to get him and then claim somehow we’re setting ourselves up for the future
  14. Im sorry. Ortiz never looked like Vargas. You could tell he had talent. The ball came off his bat something special. I was in 6th grade but I couldn't believe they let Ortiz walk
  15. Missed the bag... Classic Twins vs. Yanks thing to happen
  16. Sorry. I know it's not a big deal, but the election was Tuesday November 8th, 2016
  17. Think you may have meant the 8th, but oh no, she was "celebrating". There's a reason why she couldn't make it to the stage
  18. To be fair, she "celebrates" daily.
  19. Back when both played for the Beloit Snappers I made the bold argument that Eddie Rosario would be more valuable to the Twins than Miguel Sano. For this season at least, it looks like I have a shot of that being right.
  20. Eddie is having one hell of a year
  21. We signed Carlos Aguiar. Mauro Bonifacio will be signing elsewhere. Both were receiving late interest from other teams
  22. Nice. Where was he sitting? Didn't see him. No one overly impressed last night.
  23. Was at Cedar Rapids. Weird play where Blankenhorn was on 1B. Ball went in the dirt and Travis stole 2B. Catcher threw the ball to center field and Travis advanced to 3B. Next batter comes up and they throw the ball to 2B but once again it goes into center field and Travis takes home. They then tag 2B and the ump calls Travis out for never touching the base. I'm not sure how that's even possible considering he slide into the beg initially. Correction; game was only delayed 45 minutes. Not over 90. Sammons pitched well. The snappers were behind on his pitches all night. I think he has potential as a reliever. Royce didn't really do anything at the plate and wasn't challenged much in the field. There was one play where he initially made a great defensive stop but then dropped the ball. If he would have finished it, there was a chance he had a double play. Ball must have been wet because sammons dropped the ball when the next batter hit it back at him. Blankenhorn had a nice game. Bigger than Punto but I could see him as a hard working utility guy in the bigs. Player of the game for sure. Had a hard hit ball to right center and had a stand up triple. He also had a tremendous over the back catch on a blooper, narrowly missing colliding with the RF. Diaz had a hit and looks the part. Don't have too much to report there. Beloit is still a dump. I think I got there at 6:15, it sprinkled for 5 minutes and they had the game delayed 45 minutes mainly because the crew of 1 didn't have the field ready yet.
  24. Where do you think wander Javier would have gone in the draft had he been draft eligible this year? Top 5? Top 10?
