  1. High minors is AA and AAA. At any point those players can be called up to majors. A+ is close to major leagues but not quite high majors IMO. Opinion changed with Polanco and Pujols and view A+ as close but rare to be called up to majors. But could within a year. Under A+ and you're more than than 1 year away
  2. Dodger fans still wanted to sell Calhoun all year. The fact they don't have much faith in him is telling. My friends who are dodger fans think his bat will play but he doesn't really have a position in the field.
  3. I think I looked up the wrong guy. The guy I saw was 24 and had a mediocre at best stat line as a relief pitcher. Thought the trade was basically for the international money and I was okay with the trade. The fact that we got a lottery ticket is good I think
  4. I like him. Think you can immediately stick him in our rotation.
  5. Yep it basically became a 3 way trade. Yankees receive - Jaime Garcia, cash Yankees send - Little and Enns Braves trade - Jaime Garcia, Anthony Recker Braves receive - YNoa Twins trade - YNoa and $4M in cash Twins receive - littel, enns, Recker and 1 quality start win That seems like a fair trade all around
  6. It's going to be a lot of fun watching these it's all compete for a spot in the rotation in the next year: Berrios Mejia Gonsalves Romero Enns Little Jorge Thorpe - might be aggressive but could see a scenario where he's pushing for a sept call up next year Stewart
  7. Pretty incredible that he lost 2 seasons too. I pretty much gave up on him but it's nice that he's back on strong and is still a good age for his level
  8. Who determines promotions? Is it the Overall Twins GM or is at the affiliate level where they look down to the next level to see who they want. Or is it a combination of both (I.e. Recommendation and Twins GM makes final call)
  9. Ha I forgot all about pat light already. How nice would it be to have Fernando abad in our bullpen right about now?
  10. Jax is impressive. Would imagine he would rise quickly in the org if not for the service duty
  11. Why not give them jake reed or someone similar? Weird that a trade would stall when we are talking about a prospect at that level
  12. Pretty decent sounds like a blankenhorn, wade, or Palka type
  13. I'm still holding out hope that we break the Rangers record for most pitchers used in a season
  14. Honestly I wouldn't have a problem with it and could understand it. He personally just would be a no for me. There are other enticing players we could give them. I still am holding out hope it clicks for Stewart I guess
  15. Id like to keep Garver as well but understand if he's included. Blankenhorn is too much of a wild card for me to be too upset if he's included. Kiriloff and Thorpe are hard no's. Even Kohl Stewart for me is a no but I'm higher on him than most
  16. Garver, Jay, Palka, Slegers, Wade, Blakenhorn, Vielma all seem like guys that would be enticing to Braves fans and would be fair for Twins. Well maybe Jay wouldn't be that enticing for the Braves. I would say no on Thorpe or Kiriloff
  17. I thought it was bowyer and Scott Tyler for Luis Castillo
  18. Give them Aaron slegers and Daniel Palka. That's fair
  19. Well Braves fans think they'll get at least Kiriloff in return. Another suggested possibly Byron buxton
  20. I wonder if theAstros would have interest in Santana. Think we could get them to give up Francis martes and David Paulino.
  21. Rosario I would be okay shopping. Kepler, no way. He's a corner stone. Even Rosario could be a good piece for the future. Probably wouldn't get the value in a trade for him. Shop Dozier, polanco, Santana, Rosario, and kintzler and see what you can get.
  22. Yes. It's called not being able to just sit on one pitch the entire at bat(fastball). That's all he did in college this past year which is why his numbers jumped so much
  23. Love the investment down there. We have a really strong team and I hope these kids continue that tradition. We are starting to see the fruits in the majors and upper minor leagues. Hope this trend continues
  24. 90-91 is really impressive at that age. Pitchers have to be huge wild cards with international signings but we sure are getting bang for our buck in that department
