  1. Is "no" the new "yes"?
  2. Thanks for another great write-up, Seth! Much to be excited about throughout the organization. I had missed that Enlow was coming back this week. Good to see him back on the mound even if he did get kicked around some. Not too surprising, but add him back onto the list of pitchers that I'm paying attention to.
  3. But makes a quarter of the salary! Seems like a bargain to me!
  4. Way too early to answer this. Between injuries and minor league players that step up and produce, it's tough to forecast this this far out. It's even possible that the bullpen is solidified from within by that time. Or everything could be a complete trainwreck and they're sellers.
  5. I haven't been keeping real close attention, but it seems like Martin is still finding his way on base despite not hitting all that well. And once he does get on, he makes it count. At least he still seems to be putting in good PAs and isn't pressing. That's an encouraging sign.
  6. I've been impressed by Lewis' defense as well. I don't see any reason that he can't stick there. Celestino has also held his own very well. He's learned from that early big league experience and we're seeing the benefits of that now. Hopefully Paddack's injury isn't too bad and just requires some rest. Kind of a brutal series, but they came out with a sweep. It definitely wasn't pretty, but I'll take it.
  7. I still have faith that the bats will be fine, but this last week or so...woof. They've got to be better.
  8. Baseball is hard. It's even harder when you make it that way.
  9. And then the next judge handed down the sentence.
  10. TD should be required reading in the dugout, I say.
  11. Tonight was a good night to view some of the future of this club. Another nice outing from Winder, a first HR from Miranda and Lewis' first big league hit and some nice fielding to go with it. Overall, I'd say that was a pretty fun night for the young guys. Hopefully this is just the beginning.
  12. Finally, a gorgeous night for baseball!
  13. Who the hell is this Royce Lewis guy and why am I just hearing about him now?!? You'd think he'd get mentioned around here a few times!
  14. Welcome to The Show, Royce!  Hopefully you're here to stay!

  15. Should also be a nice night for a change. That should also help.
  16. The FO definitely put all of their chips in on Jeffers to perform, so it's great to see that he is.
  17. Agreed, and it's not likely to be one that hampers him long term either. I don't know which finger it is, but that's definitely better than a wrist (Kirilloff) and something like what you mention.
  18. I didn't expect Lewis to come out of the gate like he did, so I figured that the Correa signing was a great excuse not to rush him. And if he performed they could figure out a way to get him in the big league lineup if they wanted to. And if that happened, it would be a huge bonus. Not that I wish Correa, or anyone, to be injured, but this is a great opportunity for Lewis to work with Correa and get the real game reps at the same time. That's a blessing in disguise, in my view.
  19. I will also be there! Though, I was going to be anyway. But I will also be there also!
