    Dumb me hit enter but this is what I would go with. Bring back Gray, Maeda, and Taylor and run it back with mostly the same team. I think they can get Maeda for less but just entered what was listed for him, and possibly the same with Taylor. I know this is pretty blah but if the injured players are healthy this is reasonable.

    Maybe next year it can be set up to drop and drag players, at least who is on the initial roster? Easier to swap the players that way.

    I would also lean to the Ward side based on him being the bigger name at the time. He was a key player whereas Ron was a utility player.

    The 1981 media guide does list Washington as #50 so I'm sure it is him, as Ward had 32 already at that point. EDIT: However, Ward had 50 in 1979 ST. S0 it's a tossup.

    Looking closer that is likely Gary Ward. But he wouldn't have worn 50 in this time either. I'm going to take a closer look at spring training rosters in that era.

    Definitely a spring training photo based on the lack of stands in the background so probably from 1981 before he switched to 38.

    If Provus goes to TV I'd like to hear Attebury and Molitor a lot on radio. They worked really well together the several games they called this year. Gladden needs to go. He misses complete at bats telling the same stories he's told in the past, and is even worse when there is a guest in the booth. There are times he doesn't tell us the score for 10 minutes or more. All of you saying Attebury misses calling the game I have never heard him miss calling at bats really at all. Might miss a pitch here and there but at least he'll tell us the count and score on a regular basis, which on radio is a key to calling games.

    Too bad he was pushed out. 28 games short of 5000 called. But he should be the no brainer pick for the Twins HOF for 2024.

    I would caution that players who lost the 2020 season should be afforded an extra year of leeway here.

    Scripps owns the local ION affiliate (used to be KXLI 41 back in the old days). That's who the Phoenix teams went with so I think it is very likely they end up on there. As mentioned previously there is 45, which is basically an extension of KSTP 5 and that would also gain them a lot of coverage in outstate Minnesota. My 29 was also mentioned and that is now FOX 9+ so that is an option. The CW maybe but they've also been adding golf, college football, and are possibly going after an NBA package so i don't know that it is a good fit.

    1996 Twins legend Rich Robertson. 7-17, 5.12 ERA. Led the league in BB with 116 and had fewer K's than BB. And a WHIP of 1.68. A legend indeed.

    Du;uth and Austin/Rochester would be easy to cover as Hubbard owns stations in those market as well. So something like offering the station on one of their HD channels or just airing the games locally on one of them would work. And they could offer up the station to other areas as an HD subchannel as well.
