  1. Technically no you don't have a seat. But when I've gone SRO in the past I've waited for an usher to go down the section between innings and went down a few rows and in the middle of the section. Also there are plenty of spaces around the concourse with no vendors. A lot of those spaces also have rails so you can set your drink/food down and eat there.
  2. BOS has no room for Kepler. Turner at DH, Verdugo, Hernandez, and Yoshida in the OF.
  3. It ended up being $63M today. Kinda of surprised but not really since pitchers are getting massively overpaid for playing in less than a teams 20% of teams games.
  4. Bassitt declined the QO. Twins would still have to give up a draft pick to sign him. However I would do it. i think $23M is a little high though.
  5. Jansen was the catcher I targeted in my blueprint so i'm definitely hoping there is something to this.
  6. Normally I would agree but these players lost a full season due to COVID. I think 26-27 is a better spot for this season.
  7. He's not on the 40 man so if they were to waive him it would be for the purpose of releasing him.
  8. One season all in. Some of the FA signings are probably a little low. Arraez not really bench but moves around and sees more AB than anyone. I'm not a Rodon fan at all but the options are limited. I don't see PHI declining Nola's option and Kershaw and Verlander aren't going anywhere. DeGrom is wooed by the promise of letting him pitch deep, much like Archer was last year by the promise of shorter outings. 1 Arraez 2 Buxton 3 Judge 4 Correa 5 Abreu 6 Polanco 7 Contreras 8 Miranda 9 Kiriloff 1 DeGrom 2 Rodon 3 Gray 4 Mahle 5 Ryan CL Diaz SU Lopez SU Duran Everyone else used as needed Sometimes you just need to dream for a minute. ? 9. I'm not too concerned about Kiriloff as Larnach is there, and Wallner an Celestino are in AAA. And likely a vet OF down there as well.
  10. Something built around maybe Henriquez and another prospect in the 25 or so range. Maybe Celestino in the deal? But I'd prefer to have him at AAA as insurance for CF as Gordon would be Buxton's backup in my blueprint. Also they can have Roy Smalley.
  11. I don't see any way they trade Moreno, but definitely think the Blue Jays are who to get a deal done with. i went with Jansen in my blueprint.
  12. Just a hair under budget. I did adjust arb figures to match mlbtraderumors. A vet RP was a must and if not Robertson then a reunion with Rogers perhaps? Would cost a little more but wouldn't be budget breaking. I very much considered Edwin Diaz here but I don't think the Twins would go big here. Jansen and Biggio picked up in a trade with TOR, with Jansen getting around a 50/50 split with Jeffers and some DH AB's on rest days for others moving Miranda into the field. TOR definitely could look to move him with Kirk and Moreno both ready. ? 13. Can't do that since 13 is the limit for pitchers.
  14. I saw the first half and then went to the Twins game. I'm cautiously optimistic about this team. Been let down too many times. I think every game is winnable.
  15. Sanchez would have been starting on 3 days rest so no chance they would have done that. As far as a 40 man move they haven't officially announced the transaction so they also have to send a pitcher down from the 28 man. I'm guessing the moves happen on Wednesday.
  16. Wouldn't this be a similar situation to the Twins trading Correa? Yes the Twins are in first and the Giants are not but signing a FA then trading them midseason? And yes I get that Rodon is not the superstar Correa is.
  17. Could it be added under "Twins Resources"?
  18. Expand the rosters to 30 players, 16 pitcher limit. 26 players eligible for the days game. SO make the other 4 SP inactive and that leaves 12 pitchers available on the day of the game. I can't believe I said that. No team should ever need more than 3-4 pitchers in a nine inning game.
  19. Let's go one step more with the Angels. they also have Michael Lorenzen, who has played some OF so they could actually go with 15 on any given day.
  20. As someone who went through COVID hell I can tell you that the vaccine might not work for everyone. I was fully vaccinated (2 shots at the time) and I still got it, in the words of the doctor at the hospital, "Worse than anyone I've seen that's been vaccinated." 2 weeks in the hospital. I got them because I felt it was the right thing to do. But i can't help but think it was a mistake. Even after I went through hell my mindset didn't change. Personal choice. So i have no issue with any athlete or anyone choosing not to be vaccinated.
  21. He's only 20 years old. Patience.
  22. No way MLB will let it happen. They're not going to end MLB.TV or Extra Innings and lose all that money.
  23. His manager last year happens to be the Twins bench coach.
  24. The Dodgers don't need to replace Seager at SS as they have Trea Turner to move back to his best position.
