    Yep, they probably should trade both. My hope is Falvey and Baldelli are both fired after this season and the new GM keeps 1 of Ryan or Lopez to lead the new and improved culture.

    We got a little teaser last weekend and now it’s officially here! I am weirdly optimistic about the Gophers this year. I have no delusions of them making it to the Big 10 (really 18) championship game, but I could see a 9-10 win team this year if the new QB Lindsay is legit. Texas is my adopted football team after living down there several years. The preseason #1 ranking is aggressive. Saturday is going to be a big challenge going to Ohio State. Can’t wait!

    An embarrassing story that I’ll share. Last year a friend of mine wanted to watch a Twins game in the 300s section of TF in the highest row of the stadium. We were behind home plate, and feeling the breeze on my back plus being up that high freaked me out. We had to move down to other seats because I could not sit there the entire game.

    So many sick people in this world. This shooter was a psychopath. Evidently they posted their manifesto on YouTube yesterday before carrying out the act today.

    It really is this simple. There are so few organizations in sports that will allow a GM to keep their job after missing the playoffs 4 out of 5 years. Sadly we are one of them it appears. Our manager consistently shows he can’t coach up young talent, so he defaults to the trusty old veteran instead. Allowing this duo to lead a full rebuild is insanity.
