    Is this the best season in Stafford's career? Keep in mind this the year of the short field, and 4k passing yards are no longer a given when he started his career. I've always loved his toughness and grit on some terrible Detroit teams.

    Alright, yeah I admit it now I was wrong. I wanted Darnold back but he is still curling into the fetal position against the Rams. He hasn't been good for a couple of weeks now when it's crunch time. He's Kirk Cousins 2.0

    I’m at a loss why we haven’t shut down Darrisaw for the year when he’s still not practicing due to his ongoing knee injury? Great LT are hard to find, so get him ready to go next year while we play out the remaining 3 games.

    Joe was woefully unqualified for the role as family spokesman. He looked uncomfortable in front of a camera, and when he did speak, he said a lot of bone headed things. Speaking of woefully unqualified for the role, do we know if Tom is taking over the business side for the Twins? Because Derek Falvey should not be responsible for that anymore. They have a chance to improve some things internally within the organization, but that’s all things that don’t impact the fans. I’m not taking the bait that the Pohlads are going to change their ways on building a championship caliber baseball team.

    There's got to be at least 3 more Pohlads left with 3 letter first names. Are Tom, Joe, or Jim married to Ann, or Sue, or Kim?

    If he's ready for his humble pie sitting on the bench and learning unless McCarthy gets injured, I'm all for it. We still need a capable veteran waiting in the wings. But I'm guessing he wants a real opportunity to start next year. There's still enough QB desperate teams that will let him do that. Raiders, Jets, Browns, Steelers... Colts?

    Sounds like he caught the unfortunate WR 1 illness. I don't know why Justin Jefferson is immune, but we need to keep him and conduct a study why he's the only WR 1 who's not a diva or a dumbass.

    There are a lot worse options out there than Tua on a minimum contract next year. Would he be a good locker room guy as a backup? IIRC he's had some bad attitude moments over the years.

    What change? Tom has the same last name, and will have to answer to the rest of the family. It's literally the same as it always was. I'm willing to bet the minority groups had the request to remove Joe from the public facing role because he said stupid sh** at the worst possible times.

    Ha! I had that same exact thought on my mind. We don't even have 32 starting caliber QBs, let alone 36 if they start a division in Europe.

    It would be an interesting challenge trade for both teams. The Kyler Murray era is definitely over in Arizona as well. This upcoming draft class is so light on QBs that some poor team will be forced to acquire one of these QBs

    Joe was the one who constantly said he doesn't want to sell, and even stupidly said he wanted to be involved after the sale of the team. Pushing him out indicates to me the Pohlads intend to sell and fully move on from the Twins.

    A huge reason I am concerned is because the defense is a consistent top 10 unit since he arrived and turned things around with his chaotic scheme. I view him as a turnaround specialist, and all it does is continue to build his HC resume. He may be ready for the next challenge of turning around a bottom 10 defense into a top 10 group.

    A key detail not being discussed enough is Flores is on an expiring contract. He will of course pursue HC opportunities again, and he deserves a 2nd chance somewhere - I will keep pounding the drum for Cincinnati hiring him if they can convince Burrow to stay. However, he could simply sign somewhere else as their DC. 90% of teams would dump their current DCs in a heart beat to sign Flores to that role. Will he sign an extension before the end of the season? If not, are you concerned that he'll go somewhere else, leaving the Vikings in a very vulnerable spot?

    That's a deal you do right now this offseason. Lock him up for 8/$60-80 million and he's on the opening day lineup. If there's no deal, we won't see him until whatever the date is that gives him an extra year of control.
