    Since it’s Arcia coming up instead of Culpepper, they must be thinking a week or 2 in St Paul is going to fix Royce. I have my doubts about that.

    Since there are only 2 catchers on the 40 man, someone will need to be DFA'd to add Alex Jackson today. A strategic move could be DFA Raya. He's been so bad in AAA that he will slip through waivers easily.

    Those are the 2 options to call up when Lewis is sent to the minors... I would rather chase the upside with Culpepper. He's going to be added to the 40 man roster sooner than later anyway, so let's get to work building a new core of players.

    Matt Bowman and John Brebbia exercised their opt-outs. 48 hours to either add them to the 26 man roster or grant their release. I would add Bowman and DFA Garcia. If Brebbia takes off thanks for the memories.

    Royce Lewis Jersey giveaway day on June 6th. Will he be on the MLB team on that date?

    I just don't care how close they are to the division lead or the wild card on May 17th. It's abundantly clear that the bullpen talent and catastrophic defense will hold them back over 162 games. We've now wasted approximately 100 MLB games dating back to August 1, 2025 not building anything sustainable in the bullpen. Let's change that... Let's get Culpepper up ASAP so we can quit pretending Brooks Lee is an MLB SS. Let's find a solution at 1B that can last more than 1 season.

    Did the kiddos run the bases? Also, free ice cream to a small battalion of toddlers is worth missing an inning or 2

    Miguel Sano spent a little over a month doing a full reset starting in Ft Myers. I think the Twins need to draw up a 4-5 week full reset for Lewis as well.

    Lewis might need the total system reset like Sano did and get sent down to Ft Myers. If/when he’s sent down to the minors, a week of good hitting isn’t solving this situation.
