Yeah this draft class is extremely light on talent. If Dante Moore goes back to Oregon (he should) then it’s Fernando Mendoza and nothing else besides late round draft picks.

Agreed. Feels like a great fit for both parties. They’ll extend Lamar to lower his cap hit, and he won’t have to worry about QB for the next 5-10 years. Then B Flo does his thing building an elite defense.

Agreed. He will have a couple of choices to be the week 1 starter, but the teams will be terrible. I’m thinking Arizona when they move on from Murray, Miami when they move on from Tua, NYJ, Cleveland… I wouldn’t be surprised if KOC wants to go back to the comfortable veteran like Kirko Chainz

March 13th deadline which they will probably release him at that time... My question is, if the Vikings go back to Kirk, is he the week 1 starter for 2026? We already know he's the type of guy who will run the offense exactly how KOC wants...

1) Personally for me no. It was their lack of offense that hurt them more than the defense. 2) I'll have to dig in further on McDonald but I do want a big boy NT for the defense. IMO we've been missing that key piece the entire time since switching to the 3-4 scheme.

Early draft crushes heading into the offseason... SS Caleb Downs - He feels like vintage Harry the Hitman to me. QB Fernando Mendoza - He was impressive against a loaded Ohio State defense. Looking forward to seeing more of him in the CFP. RB Jeremiyah Love - I think he has Gibbs type of upside that transforms an offense LB Sonny Styles - Converted safety so he has the speed. Will be curious what his measurables are at the combine LB CJ Allen - Dude is all over the field making plays LB Anthony Hill - Hook 'em horns! Another guy who is all over the field making plays CB Chris Johnson - Similar type of shut down stats that Sauce Gardner had at Cincinnati. He'll be a riser to the 1st round if he tests off the charts at the combine.

I imagine the backup plan is promoting Daronte Jones to DC, but I am concerned that the student won't be able to replicate the teacher's chaos scheme if he leaves. We're gonna have competition either way. Dallas will no doubt give him a ton of money as well to be their DC if he doesn't find a HC job this cycle. Flores might be ready for his next turnaround challenge.

I'm also rooting for Seattle because of Darnold. I appreciate what he did in his lone season with the Vikings and will root for him wherever he goes... Except whenever he plays the Vikings.

What are you hearing about the Cardinals job? They don't make any sense given the rebuild they already went through. Murray will be gone... Maybe to the Vikings if KOC wants a week 1 starter over McCarthy. Edit: Nevermind. I just need to read the thread to see what you typed before

It's not like Lamar Jackson is gonna go from a freak athlete to 44 year old Philip Rivers. He's always going to be a running threat his entire career like Mike Vick. Lamar is already a great pocket passing QB too. I'd trade the farm for Lamar or Burrow if either one is realistically available to trade for. 3 1sts, McCarthy and/or Turner/Redmond. The upgrade at QB play alone would be massive.

When France signed people said no big deal it’s only $1 million he probably won’t make the team. When it was basically a guarantee he was going to make the team. Same thing applies with Arcia. We don’t have anyone else capable of playing SS behind Lee. I would put a lot of money on Arcia being the backup SS opening day

I’m not sure how you came to that conclusion. I pushed back on the post saying Arcia signed a minor league deal and he won’t be a part of the MLB team

Ty France also signed a minor league deal too. How did that turn out? We don’t know the terms of the contract yet but if Arcia is making $1 million or more he’s going to be on the MLB team.
