    Not a real complaint given the reality of this team. Just concerned that 89 MPH is the new reality for him. If so, he’s gonna have to be even more accurate hitting his spots in and around the zone.

    While that’s true, the traffic to get to and from both cities is awful. You’re not going to get a lot of commuters driving up from San Antonio for a Tuesday night game in Austin, or vice versa. I-35 is the main highway and that’s a parking lot 24 hours a day. One of the big reasons why I moved out of Austin…

    We got enough cap space to acquire Tyreek Hill. Go full 1998 on this season. JJ, Tyreek, Addison by week 4? Good luck, opposing defenses.

    If they’re seeking a city on the west coast for balance, Salt Lake City or Vancouver are much better options than Portland.

    10 years later, and we still don’t have a stadium solution for both the Rays and A’s. Expansion doesn’t make sense until the existing 30 teams are in good shape.

    Maybe we’ll get another #1 overall pick after this year to care about a draft class that much again. I was a fan of another left handed breathing SP Mackenzie Gore. So far taking either pitcher was a better option. Imagine if we sold high on Lewis when he was a consensus top 5 prospect in baseball… butterfly effect

    Bob has made some bad tweets in his day, including multiple spelling errors. But Boob is plugged in on the big important stuff. Trading Correa was a big deal during this trade deadline. Arguably the biggest known name traded away. If a GM specifically targeted LHP Matt Mikukski for Correa they should be fired immediately. 26 year old with currently a 12 ERA in high A ball.

    8-19 against left handed and breathing starting pitchers. 5 of those wins came during the 13 game win streak. The offense continues to make any left handed pitcher look like Mark Buerhle in his prime. Are we gonna continue letting Royce flail away in the majors? His plate appearances have been non-competitive for a long time now.

    Inconceivably, 5 of those 8 wins were during our 13 game win streak in May. 3 wins the rest of the season.
