    Dreamer. First time watching Twins baseball? MLB is incredibly difficult to sustain success. Our top prospects come up here and either blow chunks or best case scenario become flashes in the pan like Lewis.

    I suppose there’s always 1 example Mike. If we look system wide each day, the vast majority of them are pitching 3-4 innings

    My fear is this is the new normal moving forward with Falvey. Unless he back tracks on the system wide experiment. We aren’t training anyone to be an MLB starter. Not allowing them to work out of a jam, or build stamina to last 5-6 innings. It feels so rigid with a one size fits all approach.

    My tinfoil hat theory is the return was Outman + another prospect. That’s what was originally tweeted out. Then we had the 2.5 hour silence in between the announcement and finalized deal. Stewart’s medicals must be horrific and the Dodgers took the other prospect off the table.

    At first when I read the letter I thought there’s no way they are that oblivious about the fans’ perception of them. Then I realized Joe was born into a billionaire family and has never had real responsibilities in his entire life. So of course they’re this delusional. I guarantee they’re surrounded by yes men who only tell them they’re doing a great job and it’s the fan base who are wrong. Well done Matthew. Don’t believe a single word the Pohlads say or issue to the press. It’s all lies.

    I just looked this up out of curiosity. MLB stats since the 2024 season 147 games played - 565 PA - .233/.292/.414 .706 OPS - 94 OPS+ - +1.2 bWAR and -1.9 WPA
