    They accomplished what was necessary this deadline as fringe contenders. Personally I would have kept the rebuild going, but when asked what I would do as a buyer, that was it. 2 late inning relievers and a back of the rotation starter to soak up innings. Tom P still has a long ways to go to get back in the same stratosphere as the Wild, Wolves, and Vikings... But you got to start somewhere. I think Tom is the first Pohlad to finally understand they need to invest in the team and provide value to fans... Instead of the ass backwards thinking of Jim Pohlad/Dave St Peter always saying they can't make bigger investments until fans show up.

    Who is Trevor Rogers mentoring? The role he's playing this season has now boiled down to keeping a guy like Travis Adams around with a future. Or himself when he's running on fumes.

    It's about that time for the organization to make a decision on 10 year veteran Taylor Rogers. It's been pretty rough throughout this season if we're being honest. Walks way up, can't blow anyone away with a fastball anymore,

    Who knows. Morris could be flipped back to a starter, and Matthews or Prielipp are in the pen in 2027. The pen is the unit that needs immediate adjustments as SSS kings. I like that the bullpen acquisitions this year have playoff experience. Same with Kremer in whatever role he fills in if we're lucky enough to punch a ticket into the big dance.

    The beauty of a Falvey, now Zoll philosophy is that anyone can play anywhere. Maybe Walker Jenkins is our next 3B superstar player one game.

    Hitting is needed in the lineup. We don’t need 9 swinging for the fence players in the lineup. Agreed on him at 2B that ship has sailed this season. Who knows what the future holds. He will need a full offseason of taking ground balls to the chest like Roger Dorn.

    The original story seems pretty plausible to me. Crane stepped in to negotiate with Jim Pohlad last year for Correa. Idk why this trade is different. Clearly Jim Crane likes to meddle with his organization.

    Titles are mostly made up in the corporate world, so he just might be GM in that way. I’d like someone else running the ship besides a Falvey protégée. Tom P will have a full season to evaluate what’s happening on the baseball side.

    It might be difficult to swing with his pants around his ankles. But you might be galaxy braining here…

    Well it’s possible to DFA him and go unclaimed. Going the rest of the season with 3 catchers on roster isn’t ideal.

    Turned on MLB Network a few min ago and they showed the Dodgers’ projected rotation. What an embarrassment of riches. Yamamoto - Skubal - Ohtani - Snell - Glasnow Good luck everyone else.

    I wish we would have shaken up thr offense as well, but after today the bullpen is in much better shape. Dare I say above average again. My hope is Culpepper and Jenkins are called up very soon to bring more athleticism to the lineup and field.

    It’s gonna take a year or 2 to reverse the damage Falvey and Joe/Jim Pohlad created. At the very least, this deadline is the first example of Tom Pohlad investing in the team. I just hope the wallet doesn’t disappear this winter.
