  1. Sounds like he caught the unfortunate WR 1 illness. I don't know why Justin Jefferson is immune, but we need to keep him and conduct a study why he's the only WR 1 who's not a diva or a dumbass.
  2. There are a lot worse options out there than Tua on a minimum contract next year. Would he be a good locker room guy as a backup? IIRC he's had some bad attitude moments over the years.
  3. What change? Tom has the same last name, and will have to answer to the rest of the family. It's literally the same as it always was. I'm willing to bet the minority groups had the request to remove Joe from the public facing role because he said stupid sh** at the worst possible times.
  4. The author also didn't include the full quote where Tom Pohlad immediately contradicts himself. Who knows why. Carrying the water for the Pohlads?
  5. "Surely this Pohlad with a three letter first name won't yank the football away." - Charlie Brown Gullible Twins fans
  6. What does strategic curiosity mean? Relentless focus on winning?
  7. Ha! I had that same exact thought on my mind. We don't even have 32 starting caliber QBs, let alone 36 if they start a division in Europe.
  8. Pictured: Derek Falvey now that his dearest friend Joe was pushed out of his role
  9. It would be an interesting challenge trade for both teams. The Kyler Murray era is definitely over in Arizona as well. This upcoming draft class is so light on QBs that some poor team will be forced to acquire one of these QBs
  10. Joe was the one who constantly said he doesn't want to sell, and even stupidly said he wanted to be involved after the sale of the team. Pushing him out indicates to me the Pohlads intend to sell and fully move on from the Twins.
  11. And like that, Joe will never be heard from again.
  12. The Tua era is over in Miami. Benched and starting in his place is rookie Quinn Ewers. Hook 'em horns! Tua, you are the next Las Vegas Raiders disaster QB. Come on down!
  13. A huge reason I am concerned is because the defense is a consistent top 10 unit since he arrived and turned things around with his chaotic scheme. I view him as a turnaround specialist, and all it does is continue to build his HC resume. He may be ready for the next challenge of turning around a bottom 10 defense into a top 10 group.
  14. A key detail not being discussed enough is Flores is on an expiring contract. He will of course pursue HC opportunities again, and he deserves a 2nd chance somewhere - I will keep pounding the drum for Cincinnati hiring him if they can convince Burrow to stay. However, he could simply sign somewhere else as their DC. 90% of teams would dump their current DCs in a heart beat to sign Flores to that role. Will he sign an extension before the end of the season? If not, are you concerned that he'll go somewhere else, leaving the Vikings in a very vulnerable spot?
  15. That's a deal you do right now this offseason. Lock him up for 8/$60-80 million and he's on the opening day lineup. If there's no deal, we won't see him until whatever the date is that gives him an extra year of control.
  16. They're positioning themselves to sell the team man.
  17. If it’s that easy to scheme anyone into being a passable 1B, why haven’t we moved any of our 45 corner OF players to that spot?
  18. FYI he just announced today he’s returning to USC. This is going to be a really light QB draft.
  19. Evidently there are now 3 new limited partnership groups. Is this good for the fans in the meantime? I highly doubt it.
  20. The only question remains is what will Dante Moore do at Oregon? He might benefit more declaring for the draft this year instead of being in the loaded 2027 draft class. Since this year it's Fernando Mendoza and ??? after him.
  21. I was happy to read that this morning. I'm sure he has plenty of Mannings in his ear telling him not to rush the decision. Things were really clicking for him in the 2nd half of the year, and another full year of experience will solidify him as the #1 overall pick in 2027.
  22. Honestly he's probably due for an extension/raise more than anything. He's out performed his contract big time. The shoulder injury might keep him at a $22 million cap hit, I have no idea the severity of it since the season is almost over.
  23. Wut? Pre June 1 cut per Spotrac: 2026 Dead Cap: $9,900,000 2026 Savings: $12,400,000 We're not gonna cut him for $3.5 million savings on the cap.
  24. I don't understand why they're locking DH in with Josh Bell when there are plenty of DH candidates on the team already. If he's the every day 1B, God help us. An infield of Bell 1B - Clemens/Keaschall 2B - Lee SS - Lewis 3B has the potential to be epically bad.
  25. Couldn't agree more with this. Falvey already started the rebuild so just finish the job. He's not going to rebuild an entire bullpen on the fly, nor fill the key holes on the team for an additional $20 million. It's also why I'm scratching my head about keeping Lopez, Ryan, and Buxton. Nothing they do this offseason really matters. They're going to be a 90+ loss team unless some prospects pop off. So what's the point of keeping them? Fan interest is already at a 25 year low, who cares if they reduce it even more trading away their other veterans?
