  1. We probably would trade Addison beforehand to gain additional draft picks to add to the deal for Burrow
  2. IIRC Aaron Rodgers reworked his contract to make him tradeable to the Jets. Burrow could do the same if he’s motivated to get out of Cincy
  3. Yeah if the Jets are in on him (as they should and frankly 20 other teams) they have by far the most draft capital to trade away. Best we could do is 3 1st round picks, and a couple of players like Turner and Redmond to help kickstart their D rebuild.
  4. The topic of the day for talking heads is Joe Burrow being introspective in his latest press conference. Talking about what’s the point of doing this if he’s no longer having fun? Playing on a team with a terrible OL and even worse defense is getting to him… If he seeks a trade in the offseason, the Vikings need to move heaven and earth to make it happen. You send 3 1st round picks and don’t think twice. If it takes cutting other players to make the money work you do it.
  5. Especially from 2017 - 2023 ish. Record low interest rates and funny money being spent all over the place. If Average Joes like us were qualifying for sub 3% interest rates on mortgages, imagine the opportunities available to billionaire families.
  6. I see it's now available on Amazon Prime so I will add it to the list to watch and report back
  7. Home Alone, Home Alone 2 Lost in New York, Elf, The Santa Clause, and Frosty the Snowman as Christmas classics. Christmas Vacation, Spirited - Apple TV flop with Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds, Miracle on 34th Street, Candy Cane Lane - Amazon Prime flop with Eddie Murphy Controversial take... I have never seen Die Hard.
  8. Like I said in Cody Christie’s rumor post… Are we ever going to learn our lesson not to take Charley Walters seriously? He is the biggest hack writer in the state by a mile. If he’s the only person reporting something, it’s 100% wrong.
  9. And continue to be employed? It’s amazing really.
  10. Have no fear Chief. I have been reading that building a bullpen from scratch is the easiest thing to do in baseball. Even though contenders look for 1 or more bullpen arms every year at the deadline.
  11. Incredible. The Colts have a tough 4 game stretch to end the season.
  12. Rocco Baldelli is joining the Dodgers in a Front Office role.
  13. Networks like ESPN want it both ways because they're paying for both the CFP and all of these bowl games. Players have to decide basically right now if they're going to transfer to a different school - so why would they play a bowl game if an injury derails their next destination in college? Or if they intend to enter the NFL draft, there's no reason for them to risk injury in a meaningless bowl game. The top echelon schools like Notre Dame, Texas, Ohio State, etc have a CFP or bust mentality. Why would they care about the Duke's Mayo Bowl when all season they were striving to make the CFP? It's a broken system and more players/teams will opt out of future bowl games. Except PJ Fleck... Winning the Duke's Mayo Bowl every year is his Super Bowl.
  14. It really is a privilege that teams in the central part of the US are allowed to play in this coastal elite baseball league. The game is in a great spot! No changes needed.
  15. Hurts is locked in for 2026 contract wise but they could get out of it after next year. The Eagles are one of the better planning ahead franchises so it wouldn’t surprise me if they’re keeping close tabs on the 2027 QB draft class
  16. A missed FG to close the half. And that's about all I got in this slop fest tonight.
  17. I'm of course starting the stack of Hurts and AJ Brown in a must win week for fantasy. I know, no one cares about your fantasy league
  18. Yeah I need to update my timeline on achilles injuries. My default is a year at least but I suppose Danny Dimes could elect the faster surgery recovery that Rodgers chose. Both him and Kirko weren't the same last year but they technically played. Hell, Kirko still doesn't look good 1.5 years removed from his achilles tear.
  19. That was a bizarre play to watch
  20. Indy now is in the worst spot in the NFL... Danny Dimes was on a 1 year deal and now gone for all of 2026 - they almost certainly would have kept him. They traded their 1st round picks the next 2 years for Sauce Gardner who is also out with a calf injury. I guess they have to try Anthony Richardson again next year?
  21. Evidently Anthony Richardson has a broken eye socket from a workout. Who punched him in the face?
  22. Peppermint roll Philip Rivers
  23. I just saw this on ESPN's bottom line and had to google this... They are working out Philip Rivers to see if he can join the team for the last 5 games of the season. He is 44 years old. At least the Vikings aren't that desperate.
  24. Not that it’s an enormous difference but I’d put Wentz in a tier below those guys. There’s a reason he was sitting on his couch until the Vikings called 5 days before week 1
