  1. The reality is there is not enough money to afford a Kirk contract, Jefferson/Darrisaw extensions, and Hunter. I’m not prioritizing paying a 36 year old QB fresh off Achilles surgery when there is lots of examples of QBs falling off a cliff in their late 30s.
  2. This year the first Chicago game (3 turnovers) and the Carolina game (139 yards passing 3 turnovers) Last year Philly, Dallas, and Green Bay. He has 4-5 games where he looks like an MVP, 4-5 games where he looks like one of the worst starting QBs in football, and the rest are between meh and good. Who’s replacing that production? Well that’s why Kwesi is paid the big bucks. I am hoping they draft a QB early and roll with them.
  3. Which Kirk contributed plenty towards that number. 12 turnovers for him. It feels like there’s a bit of ex girlfriend syndrome here. You’re fondly remembering the good times with Kirk and forgetting he’s had plenty of unspectacular, to downright awful games in his Vikings tenure.
  4. Those MVP numbers got us to a .500 record. My top priorities are to re-sign Hunter and give Brian Flores a blank check to remain as DC.
  5. Simply put, the Vikings are 4-4 this season with Kirk. And 3-3 without him. Yes, a lot went into those records beyond QB play. But let’s not make Kirk Cousins out to be more than he was.
  6. Bringing back Kirk will result in losing at least one of Darrisaw, Jefferson, or Hunter. I would rather get off the ride one year too early vs. one year too late. Kirk is 36 and the cliff is approaching for him soon.
  7. No chance Dan Campbell is the type to rest the starters. He went balls to the wall last year to be a playoff spoiler.
  8. Of course he doesn’t get a pass next year. This season he lost his starting QB for the season and is making do with what he can.
  9. I'm giving KOC a pass because of the circumstance. No coach is expected to do well with their backup QB. Today we started the franchise record 4th QB in a regular season and gained 400 yards of offense. Mullens played hero ball when he has no business doing so and turned the ball over twice. The 2nd interception is the worst INT I've seen since the Josh Freeman disaster game.
  10. We know everything we need to know about this team in 2023, right? Except Jaren Hall... There's honestly nothing this team will do over the next 3 weeks to change my opinion about these things: - Brian Flores did an amazing job coaching this defense. - The team blew games that they should have easily won thanks to turning the ball over like crazy on offense - Bucs, Chargers, Broncos, 2nd Bears game, and this Bengals game, - No matter if they win, lose, or tie the next 3 games I'm not calling for anyone's head on the coaching staff.
  11. Especially with a 5’8” 180 lb WR as the guy tasked to push Mullens over the finish line. What is CJ Ham doing on this team if we are not giving him the opportunity to gain 1 chain link?
  12. The Eagles prove week after week that the proper personnel is needed to execute the QB sneak at a high level. 90% of teams don’t. And we certainly don’t. Our interior lineman are not road graters they are light, athletic types.
  13. KOC and staff have been micro focused on just finding a way to win that week. This game is a cold dose of reality. The defense was on an all-time stretch of play because we were playing against very bad QBs. Browning is not good either but he is better than the string of QBs we’ve faced over the previous 4 games.
  14. That’s a heart breaking loss. I know we are still in the hunt because the NFC is mediocre trash but that should eliminate any hope for a playoff win.
  15. Didn’t even attempt to ice him. We waived the white flag.
  16. There is your dagger. Start Hall next week and get prepared for next year.
  17. The offensive genius decided that a 180 lb WR is the best guy on the team to push our QB.
  18. Same play call on 4th down? Wow KOC. Wow.
  19. Powell as the push guy on that QB sneak is something.
  20. We didn’t get over the first down line.
  21. Idk what the refs were looking at, that is textbook DPI. But we will take it.
  22. Nice bull rush, Bullard!
  23. OT here we go… Can the defense hold up so we can win with a FG?
  24. Najee Thompson threw #20 like a rag doll into the punt returner.
  25. He will be some other team’s #1 WR this offseason. Them, Patriots, Colts… someone will give them a 1st round pick and pay him.
