There are many loopholes in this current CBA, but this loophole takes the cake. Big markets can defer whatever money they want and if paying Ohtani ever becomes a problem, the owner will sell the team and put the burden on someone else.
This is the lowest my opinion has been of KOC in his tenure. By no means am I calling for him to be fired... However, he's not showing much willingness to adapt to the QB's strengths so far after Kirk.
My paranoid thought is that we won't see JJ the rest of the season. And then things could get very interesting this offseason if the Vikings move on to a rookie QB.

I think that may be the worst collective half of football I’ve ever seen in a Vikings game. Sure we’ve been blown out in recent years. But this is just horrible QB and offensive effort from both teams.
