Very true. I think he would list the Dodgers if he negotiated another contract that included 1 team he can’t be traded to. That relationship is never gonna work
It’s July 21st. There’s plenty of innings to fill with prospects and waiver wire fill ins. Until this FO is gone they’re gonna try to win one game at a time.
Not going to look at minor league numbers? Should we call up Jose Miranda instead then? You can aim your crosshairs at other players on this team you know… You’ve been hyper focused on France
Festa has probably had his “Welcome to the MLB” moment. But squaring up against Ohtani probably tops the list so far for the 25 year old. Tonight would be ideal to pitch the game of your life young man
They’ve been playing Lee every day in July and he’s been terrible. I have zero issue with Rocco playing the vets against the best baseball player in the world.
I think Cody nailed it on the destination for Bader. He’s got experience in the NL East and he’ll have the ability to be a playoff hero again.
The Twins need multiple Bader types on the team. I’d love to re-sign him again in FA this winter.
I’d put it at 95% probability Danny Cool is traded by the deadline. Mets, or the other 15 teams that feel like they’re contenders have it in their budget to trade for him. He’s a guy we could get a surprising return for.
According to mlb dot com, most of their top prospects are in A+ or below. Jackson Ferris looks like a good target being a 22 YO AA left handed and breathing starter.
As Plouffe was saying during the broadcast, he was finally looking at himself in the mirror and questioning how good he actually is. MLB is unrelenting at the top level of competition.
I’ve got zero issue playing Clemens nearly every day over the next few weeks to solve that riddle. We need any offense available here so there are plenty of opportunities for him.
Keeping it positive…
Nice to see Royce Lewis wake up after his comments yesterday. First multi HR game of his career in the regular season.
Wallner hit a blast too but that’s too far in between futility at the plate.
Clemens continuing to make the most out of his opportunities.
