    Brees and Fitz are 1st ballot HOFers. I guess I didn’t see if Luke Kuechly was a 1st ballot as well? I’m very much in the camp of a big HOF for the NFL. They’re building up a list of players, coaches, and ownership that’s going to be improbable to address in no time.

    Feels like a legacy award here. Drake Maye finished in 2nd place 1 vote away from winning, which is wild.

    That's what we call "land and expand" in the sales world. The Pohlads get at minimum $229 per person signing up for this. It's up to the consumer to determine what that breaks down to per time they use Twins Pass. Every time someone attends a game increases their chances of buying food/alcohol/merchandise on-site.

    Not sure why he’s catching strays but he was by far the most successful executive we’ve had signing international talent. Terry left him in a terrible spot knowing Johan Santana had to be traded.

    I’m not sure what happened but Philly’s legendary OL coach left their organization. I don’t care if we just agreed to promote the assistant OL coach a few days ago. It’s worth calling Jeff Stoutland to see if he wants to come here.

    The first rug pull after 2023 is absolutely the Pohlads fault. However, Falvey had 2+ years to change the core roster and re-allocate the budget. He instead kept running it back with bare minimum changes. That’s on Falvey. The reality is he’s had the highest budget to work with out of any AL Central team since he was hired. After he got taken to the cleaners in the 2022 trade deadline he quit making significant trades to boost the MLB team.

    Ronny Henriquez was DFA'd to make room for the signings of Harrison Bader and Danny Coulombe. In hindsight a bad decision by the fired executive Falvey keeping others like Darren McCaughan on the opening day roster instead of Henriquez.

    I would be thrilled with that start to the draft... Lee Hunter I wouldn't be surprised if we have to consider him at 18, let alone 49 overall. He is IMO the most talented IDL in the class. Peter Woods from Clemson is another name mocked in the 1st round, but I'd much rather have Hunter than him. The Toledo safety hits players hard. Definitely reminds me of young Harry the Hitman

    It's been a slow death for these RSNs, but it is lining up nicely to get a pretty significant national TV contract in 2028. In the short term, that's a lot of TV money leaving the sport.

    I'm going to start a race discussion here, spoiler alert... 10 NFL HC openings and only 1 person of color filled the role. Do you know how many non-white people are offensive coordinators heading into the 2026 season? Zero. Nil. Nada. What's the quickest path to a HC in the NFL today? Being the hot shot young OC who's ideally calling their own plays.

    I would work on a long term agreement with Walker Jenkins right now so he can be on the opening day roster. If Tough Talkin' Tom is serious about competing this year, then the focus needs to be on the highest upside talent like Jenkins, E-Rod, Prielipp, etc.

    Promoting the assistant OL coach does not instill confidence. Is Frank Smith higher on the totem pole than Wes Phillips as OC? If so, why is Wes Phillips still here in that role?

    This classic scene from The Office is probably an accurate representation of Falvey’s relationship with the Pohlad family over the last 3 years. Snip snap, snip snap. Tough talking Tom can continue saying we will be competitive all he wants. It’s not based on anything in reality. The Pohlads still don’t get it. Fan morale crashed because of them! There’s a large subset of fans who are sick of them, and only them. They won’t spend another dime at Target Field until they sell the team.
