  1. He makes up for it by not having much of a bat.
  2. Well, you know what they say...chicks dig the long ball.
  3. Perhaps the absence of DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION from the Twins clubhouse is the problem this year? //ducks// //sticks head back up// I really ... wait for it ... labored to come up with that one. //ducks back down//
  4. Nice work, SB.
  5. Excuse me, Im new here. Is this the "Blog Cabin" place? If so, I like the hickory cabinets.
  6. Personally, I'd be OK if Buxton never hits another ground ball in his career. Good hitters aren't good hitters because they hit lots of ground balls.
  7. Just watched the replay. The targeting thing is the stupidest rule in a long time. Let the QB run until he decides to slide at the last instant, then expect defenders to be able to mind read and pull off before he goes into his slide. I'd be teaching my QBs to fake the slide and get an extra 20 free yards in important situations.
  8. I just lose more faith in Molitor by the day, and I was already in negative numbers.
  9. SPOILER ALERT Gophers and OSU scoreless just prior to kickoff.
  10. //blink blink// //dumbstruck stare// BUXTONZEE!!!!!
  11. I bet you wish you had a nickel for every time you've been forced into THAT line...

  13. "If you really want it to be prime rib… use prime numbers like 13 or 17. I thought this was a brilliant idea but it would render it impossible to cut into bite size pieces… now being indivisible and everything." This stops being a problem if you just skip the silverware and treat the slab of prime rib like the finger food the Good Lord intended it to be.
  14. If I could add a thought to North's post above: it's ok to walk away from a disagreement at some point.
  15. There really isn't any point in trading Santana unless you're giving up completely on the next season or two. And I hope they don't do that.
  16. Don't be so negative all the time.
  17. "Be the change you want to see." I read that somewhere.
  18. That's still no excuse. If you dive in that situation and miss by a couple inches, I get that. Kepler missed by a yard. He was nowhere near catching that. In that situation, you HAVE to pull up, and keep the go ahead run at first.
