    That article made me sad.

    We do have nice depth.

Good article. We have a lot of exciting young players. And let's face it, these are the Twins and nobody can stay healthy so you can never have too much depth.

I think ERod will be number 1 next year IF he can stay healthy, which is always a worry with Twins prospects. I really hope for the Twins sake but most importantly his sake Lewis can stay healthy this season. PTC: Martin. I think he bounces back and becomes a top 5 prospect in our farm again. He has lost some of his appeal with no power, but Arraez had no power either but led the league in BA. Plus, Martin is faster.

I am a big fan. But knowing the Twins luck he will become Buxton 2.0. A very talented player that can't stay healthy.

I am excited for him. However, I admit I am a pessimistic sports fan because I follow the Twins, Vikings, Timberwolves, and Hawkeyes. I am just waiting for a season ending injury in the spring.

With the Twins and injuries, you can never have enough depth.

Everytime I give up, my hopes go up again. I am still sure the Twins and their fans are going to get burned.

On another thread here it was said that Bowden stated on radio that Correa and the Mets are finalizing a deal. Once again the Twins were used. I wasted so much time and nothing happened. F Correa and Boras!

So it is over? The Twins get screwed again. I can't believe how much time I wasted. As a Hawkeyes, Vikings, Twins, and Timberwolves fan I am used to disappointment. He gone.
  11. KirbyHawk75
I think the Mets and Boras are playing the Twins again.
  12. KirbyHawk75
Hate this. Another mediocre reliever replacing someone with potential.
  13. KirbyHawk75
Personally, I am getting excited here. I love Buxton but he is not reliable enough. Correa would give the Twins a true superstar. They haven't had one since Mauer and Morneau in their primes? He can be the face of the organization. Plus, he is a winner. Maybe he can help us get over the playoff problems.

It just seems like for years it takes a long time for Twins players to heal. I am sure that is every team but I don't pay attention.

I like this trade. You have to give up prospects to get players like Mahle. Look at our track record with prospects: Half of the hitters can't stay healthy (Lewis, AK, Larnach) and most of the pitching prospects can't stay healthy and/or flame out. I am greedy for one more reliever. But I am pleasantly surprised.

The Mariners had to overspend just like the Twolves had to overspend for Gobert. Neither team has been relevant in 2 decades. BTW the Twins could not compete with what the Mariners offered unless they traded Miranda, Kirlioff, and two pitching prospects. And I would never do that for a guy who will be here for a year and a half.
  17. KirbyHawk75
I would be happy with Mahle and 2 relievers. I just don't want to give up Miranda or Kirlioff as they are our future along with Lewis (IF he recovers and stays healthy). The only prospect I wouldn't trade is Lee. But Dougie keeps saying it and he is correct. Other teams can offer more. Our farm is not really good right now. You are getting nothing for Martin or JB.

    Yuck!

The Yankees always brings in higher attendance. Also I am not convinced they can beat the Yankees. I also think many Twins fans just don't trust this team yet. They are winning but are in a terrible division (not the Twins fault however.) Plus when you throw out Cole Sands, Chris Archer (who did look good), and Dylan Fricking Bundy it is hard for the "casual fan" to get behind. Plus, a lot of fans have PTSD from the playoff woes. Fans who are on TD are mostly going to games. We are diehard fans. I still think the casual fan needs more convincing. That is a reason attendance is down. I love this site, but that article was a bit of a fluff piece. I live in Iowa and that is the kind of media we get covering the Hawkeyes and the hated Cyclones and I am very critical of. Just my opinion though. What the hell do I know? Still love this site but message boards are here for fans to share their thoughts.

    Tough schedule ahead.

I am always excited to read these articles daily. I am glad Royce is looking good. The only thing that scares me is my negative thinking is asking who will get hurt first? Royse or Buck?
  22. KirbyHawk75
I actually like this trade. Rodgers is in his 30's and has one year left. I think Paddack still has potential and his manager from last year must believe in him. I liked Rooker but I am glad we didn't trade Larnach.
  23. KirbyHawk75
I don't like this trade unless we get more. And if we get up our closer I would be really confused. I am also a big fan of Larnach. I guess you have to give up talent to get talent, but the numbers don't impress me. If the FO would have just signed a FA starter or two we would not have to give up prospects.
  24. KirbyHawk75
Either Rooker or Garlick will also be added to the roster correct? Have they made that decision yet?
  25. KirbyHawk75
    Please not Garlick or Cave.
