    Dobnak pitched great tonight in relief. Sad thing is that he most likely will be sent down right away since he threw 68 pitches and they will want the next fresh arm from Rochester to replace him. He made a great impression and he will be back.

    Luis Arraez seems to not look at all like a rookie at all at the plate. He has such a great idea of the strike zone and seems to be able to hit the ball where he wants to. You would think he would be a great lead off or #2 hitter.

    So did Dobnak ever make any of the top prospect lists? And if you made an updated list where would he rank in just starting pitchers.

    What a great story about how he went from being undrafted and now promoted to the majors. Go back and look at the 2017 draft and there's really not that many 1st round picks already in the majors ahead of him.

    Got to say I find it amusing watching Sano & Nelson Cruz with their home run celebrations when they get back to the dugout. Looks like Nelson Cruz seems to be a great veteran leader for this club. Sergio Romo also has been great for what he brings to the team as well. Always nice when you can have veterans on the team for support and to keep everyone loose.

    Someone needs to get them out of the fetal position before they can make any deals before the deadline.

    Size isn't everything. Pedro Martinez was just 5-11 and maybe 170lbs if he was lucky. Dodgers traded him away, think they doubted his durability. Very bad to ever compare anyone to a HOF pitcher. Just saying size doesn't matter. If it did Trevor May would be a solid workhorse.

    Without adding at least 2 RP and a SP that are all quality arms this team will not make it out of the 1st round of the playoffs if they still make them.

    Giles and Greene cannot become a Free Agents until 2021. Arbitration eligible now.

    So who in the Twins organization would be on the same level as the 2 prospects the Mets gave up for Stroman??

    Was the promotion earned or are they hoping for the best.

    People never seem to take into account that most of these NL pitchers rarely have faced line ups with DH's instead of pitchers that can't hit their weight for average. The Mets also may be moving him now since his numbers are dropping off and if they waited until this winter the return would be even less. For what it's worth I would rather have Lance Lynn than Thor. Better contract and better numbers this season.

    Very reasonable contract! He has been a K machine this season. Yes, we got burned on him because he never had a Spring Training. After we were his "Spring Training" and dealt him he improved. I would rather have 2 years $20M Lynn than whatever Kyle Gibson ends up getting.

    Finally the Twins have pulled off a trade. Sad part they had to give up cash to acquire him.

    Miss the playoffs or make the playoffs and be one and done. It would be nice to see the Twins be as aggressive in the trade market as they are DFA RP's lately.

    Cash is being bashed because it does not help the current team which badly needs to make 3+ trades to keep Cleveland at bay.

    You would expect they could get a lottery ticket for all these DFA guys. Cash is wrong in so many ways. Better than nothing, but it does not send a good message to what they are trying to do.
