  1. Lewis is absolutely killing this team this year. I have no idea what to do about that. This does not absolve others....
  2. He's very good. But SWR has been great the last five or so starts. Not sure what they do when he's healthy.
  3. 346 hitters have at least 120 at bats. Vazquez is 339th in hitting. Even with a huge bump for his defense, he has negative war.
  4. All your starters? One guy. No amount of defense makes up for Vazquez awful hitting.
  5. That simply isn't true the last few years. They've taken totally different types than you say. I prefer no HS pitchers early.
  6. They can't get Painter for either. But Philly has some other great prospects. I'd certainly listen.
  7. I'm all in on pushing GG to AAA soon. This would allow them to potentially deal Larnach or Wallner in the off season. I remain hopeful Julien can be up, or dealt for another real prospect. Cannot believe ERod is hurt again.
  8. I'm assuming they aren't putting CC on the list for two weeks? Going to play shorthanded again. Do other teams do this every year?
  9. More like the FO doesn't IL him for two weeks because he'll be back soon....
  10. Catcher ERA is bunk according to every study out there. Like, why would it suddenly be lower this year with Vazquez, if over the previous two years it was lower with Jeffers?
  11. Interesting .....I'd be tempted by either of those two.
  12. Here's the conundrum as I see it. 3B and SS are set, like it or not (until Lewis is hurt, but then you are playing a backup, you aren't bringing in a starter while you have Lewis and CC). 2b is Keaschell, Culpepper, or Lee. C is Jeffers and there isn't one out there you can bring in and hit most likely. CF is Buxton. that leaves LF, RF, 1B. Now, their top prospects are Jenkins, EmRod, and GG in the OF. And they have Wallner and Larnach. Plus Martin, Eeelse and Keaschell as backups. What do you trade FOR? Because they 100% need more pre-arb players (EmRod and Jenkins and Culpepper and Lee). It's hard to see trading for an OF at this point. Or 2B.
  13. At least you get rain. But then, it isn't humid here and we have almost no mosquitos....
  14. CC isn't going anywhere. Sure, I like Keaschell and Culpepper, but if we are trading guys, not into the TOR players was my point.
  15. Not really thrilled with the Jays prospects. Give me Mets or Phillies......
  16. You can't be serious? AI is so wrong so often it's not even funny anymore. That's even counting how awful it is for the environment and people trying to breathe.
  17. I endorse this plan. No idea why Kiersey is still here at this point. Martin is healthy..
  18. Except they are stuck with Lewis and CC whether they hit or not. It's all on those two. Buxton isn't going anywhere. One of Larnach and Wallner is here next year, maybe both. Jeffers is your part time catcher. You're left with one corner OF spot, first where they refuse to move anyone, and second, where we hope Lee or Keaschell stick. I generally agree that they need to be more aggressive and let rookies play, but nothing is fixed unless those two hit or are gone. How does Lee play five days a week? I wish they'd move on from France, but they didn't move Larnach or Wallner or Julien to first. Will they promote Sabato? I'm guessing no, they'll stick with the bad veteran like they always do.
