  1. Sure, I'm not arguing to trade him this year, or not to.
  2. Fair. The record of HS pitchers is awful and he's already hurt. Is he going to miss the entire year? GG will be a ML player at some point, for some time. I can't say the same about Soto. The article completely ignores his injury.
  3. Still no Martin for Kiersey or France. Are they even awake at HQ?
  4. The idea that trading one RP is giving up for three years is absurd. Milwaukee traded Burnes and didn't quit.
  5. I mean, what if Duran gets hurt? What if they have zero good catchers for the next five years? You can't be certain of anything in life. If you believe the target is a legit player, you trade for him.
  6. I feel like this is always your answer. How's their development process working going slowly? The rush is they could be up next year, but every time they wait, the excuse is to wait because they haven't been promoted yet.
  7. I'd deal Duran for six years of Jeffers, yes.
  8. I can't see getting even close to a top ten overall prospect for a RP. If they did, you'd have to take it.
  9. He has no trade value. He was DFA last year for playing this way.
  10. I just don't understand how France is on this roster.
  11. I mean, I'm calling up Martin now to replace France. I'm never counting on Rodriguez at this point. I doubt they promote GG until late in the year. Then he starts in the minors next year, because depth....I see them promoting Jenkins in 27 for the control. Frankly, I have zero confidence in this fo at this point..
  12. He retired. I don't get your insistence they should have signed him. He was a favorite while here. I wish him well.
  13. I'd argue France and Vazquez are contributing exactly as expected. Larnach has been this for three years, it's who he is. I don't blame coaches for CC or Lewis. Or give them credit for Buxton or Bader. Wallner is inexperienced enough that I question the coaches. And Lee. Clemens was DFA earlier this year.... It's the front office who should be most questioned. As for Lewis? Injuries have taken their toll. I think our real hope here is he's healthy next year.
  14. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/new-york-mets-top-45-prospects/ 11th, and a 45. About right for a RP.
  15. Sure, but they aren't cutting CC. Agreed, nothing g is going to change any time soon.
