  1. How happy should we be we didn't get Corbin? Rosario isn't bringing back major league pitching. No chance.
  2. No chance I pay Cron that much. No way. Zero. I'd also probably trade Rosario, but that depends on the return.
  3. I should have held my disney......I have quite a bit of waste management also......there will never not be garbage....
  4. Uhg, but I worked there and got it as bonus, and bought it at a discount. Shopify QQQ Amazom Several ishares funds Nvidia Okta
  5. There are lots of different defensive metrics.....do any of them like the Twins' infield defense?
  6. How about ONE of the top picks for this team doing that. Just once......Sky rocket to the majors in 2 years and be very good right away w/o stopping. Just once.* *and no, this isn't about the FO, it's lamenting that for some reason we just aren't getting that. It's no one's fault.....
  7. Entry team would love to be Tampa, only one has figured out how. Why would it be a mistake to spend revenue in the actual players?
  8. So it's reasonable that the owners get to keep more profits, and pay the people who actually entertain you less? Or was that not your point? Also, there is not a better way to be a fan than another way....
  9. Odorrizi should be a priority for sure. Hopefully he's the second best pitcher they sign, but I'm guessing he's the best. He pitched the league average number of innings for starts, but much more effectively than league average. He's totally worth three years, fifty million.
  10. I've been on this train since this website started. I'd like three little legit starters, though, not two. I'd prefer four, but it's going to be hard to actually add three legit starters in one off season.
  11. I'd move Chalmers to the bullpen and to AA early next year. He's a good candidate for the 2 to 3 inning guy that piggybacks in a bullpen game, imo.
  12. People want two of these minute league guys starting for one forth the year? How is that a good idea? Plus, Pineda doesn't stay healthy
  13. Cron was replacement level. Why are people wanting to bring him back on a team on a budget that wants to win?
  14. I'll ask again.... Look at the leaderboards, and tell me who will be available that is better, that won't cost a lot more? And I said fifteen, or is that the difference here?
  15. Because gone are the days of starters going six innings most days. Go look at the list of starters on leader boards.... There aren't many you want more than Odo, and even less that will be available.... It's all about the QO. If there is none, he'll get fifteen a year, imo
  16. They need three pitchers. They aren't going to gut the system to trade for three. That would be stupid. I never said they wouldn't, I said if they don't, then they aren't serious. Nothing more or less was said in that post.
  17. Pineda hasn't had a healthy year since many of you were born* *Exaggeration for effect.... Either the window is open, or not. But Cruz won't be here forever. Sano and Rosario aren't here forever. Garver will probably be less healthy year after year, that's the nature of catching. If they don't get two good pitchers, why should any fan believe they will ever go in?
  18. I just said it was a bad move..... That's one. One bad move.
  19. Meh. It wasn't a good move. It wasn't a move that made a huge difference. I would have used Rogers in a jam. So, sure, that move was bad. But people are acting like every decision was bad. The players stunk. That's what mattered most.
  20. The math is pretty clear, because the pitching is better in the playoffs, home runs are better than high batting average in the postseason. You are less likely to string together hits against the better pitching.
  21. The only one I sign is Odorrizi. Castro if he takes a small pay cut, and we all agree Garver gets sixty percent of the at bats. No way on Scoop, his money goes to pitching. No way on Perez, he's not good. Gibson? If they think he's healthy, maybe, but I'd try elsewhere first.
  22. My only two things Schoop should have started game one. No question. Odorrizi should have started game two. I agree strongly with the Gibson decision. That keeps the Yankees from seeing the good RP two days in a row. I was mildly opposed to some of the bullpen usage, but not strongly. Before the series, people here said the bullpen was vastly improved, and the front office deserved credit for Littell and others. So, which is it?
