    I mean, that's every sport, other than the criminal low pay. Look at QBs vs LBers ... I agree there is a real perception issue. No idea how to fix that Ohtani was always going to a big market. The fact it is now more expensive, potentially, for big markets, isn't really an issue for any other teams. Unless we think this raises the floor for good players' pay.

    I don't know, he's still Japanese. Hell be living somewhere, most likely somewhere with taxes. I guess he could move to somewhere else. A government could argue he earned the money in their jurisdiction, just got paid later. I ran into that with Minnesota and deferred compensation....I doubt this works.

    Royce Lewis last played half a season of ball in 2019.....that's a heck of a gamble on that changing.

    you want all big contracts to turn out badly? Seems like that would discourage big contracts. You wished for a guy to be bad and utterly fail at his job. that seems a bit harsh to me.

    And I think that's on the QB more than the coach, but I'm ok if we disagree.....Dobbs is a one trick pony, and that trick isn't passing, alas....to be clear, I don't love KoC as a coach (don't dislike him either). I think he needs a great QB (which, let's face it, the history of the NFL shows that's true of every coach the last 20 years, exceptions proving nothing).

    I'm in no way around the other options are good options...... Just that wet know one isn't. As for KoC, I don't know what to think. I doubt there is a coach on the planet that could make Dobbs and a fourth string RB and one good wr, and one good te look good...... especially with O'Neil forgetting how to block.

    It isn't the coaching. Dobbs isn't good. He wasn't in either of the two places he was before. He isn't here. I watched the highlights, and more than a few sacks and hurries Dobbs just didn't make a decision. Not all, clearly... But this idea that some magic sauce exists that will make Dobbs effective is just not accurate. Agreed on Flores. And add I said earlier, Pace has been great

    If he refuses to sign, deal him. Worst idea ever, but still..... When Hunter walks and they get a fourth, those low ball offers will look great. I mean, is hate this, but what's the alternative? One more year of him with a rookie QB?
