  1. I'm no fan of this either. Not sure if the FO and manager are going to change though...
  2. At third base, if Lewis doesn't play much, they drop that far.
  3. They go from fifth to 29th in projected fwar without Lewis, though the projections still have him getting 400 ABs.... So it isn't reflected.
  4. Anil 3:27 Bailey Ober? Any thoughts Jay Jaffe 3:27 Guy got bombed in one start? I think you're oberreacting TRY THE VEAL!
  5. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/in-closely-projected-al-central-race-the-twins-lose-two-key-weapons/
  6. I told my guy I was going to buy puts on Trump social, and didn't. Damn.
  7. that was an exaggeration....but they are projected by most sites to be one of the top 5 pitching teams this year.....which I find kind of mind boggling, but when you look at other staffs, you realize there just aren't that many pitchers very good or better out there.
  8. Not much lately.... Guest How do you feel about Royce Lewis now (after the injury) Ben Clemens sad
  9. Comparing any class to last year's is fool's gold. It was truly epic at the top.
  10. DeSclafini was the cost of getting the other two players they got in the deal. I agree on Santana, but am unsure about Margot (though I would not have spend that money that way, I get why they did). What starting pitcher would you have signed for that 15 million?
  11. The owner said they were cutting costs, and they did. The second most by percent in the league. 20 million less spent on payroll this year than last. I'm not sure how that's on anyone but the owner.
  12. come on. It was clearly an exaggeration. The Twins are projected as one of the best SP and RP teams in the league. So, either believe in the projections or not, up to you.
  13. tough start to the year with Larnach and Lee hurt also....feel really bad for Larnarch, as this could be his chance...
  14. I'm curious ... But how many teams have pitching even half as good as the Twins? If the AAA guys had no faults, they'd be in the majors. Imo, people are really unrealistic in their thoughts on pitching depth across the league.
  15. That's obviously the best case, but I don't think they risk it and trade up.
  16. Got it. I'm not sure either is a major league hitter. But now I understand.
  17. going from 3 on..... 3. Trade 11 for another 2nd or 3rd. Draft Powers-Johnson at 23 and a CB or DT/edge with the other pick. Draft OL/DB/DL with all other picks. Maybe a RB. Deal Bradbury for 3rd/4th in 2024. Use all of your picks in 2024 to take QB. Literally all of them 4. Trade 11 to the low 20s, draft Penix and Powers-Johnson. Deal Bradbury. 5. Stick at 11 and take DT, draft Penix or Powers-Johnson at 23. Use all of your picks in 2024 to take QB. Literally all of them if you don't take Penix. I think if they can't deal up, the deal down a bit, take Penix or Nix, and then OL or DT (illinois guy?).
  18. I think we are all thrilled with how well both of those players feel, and I remain a Stewart fan.
