    AL Central 1:51 The Twins and White Sox match up very well on a Crochet deal. Is them being in the division a complete non starter? Steve Adams 1:53 It's generally best to just assume both parties prefer not to be haunted by that type of trade for years to come. White Sox don't want to watch Crochet carve them up in 2026. Twins don't want to watch Brooks Lee or Emmanuel Rodriguez or Walker Jenkins or whoever beating up on them for six/seven years somewhere down the road. The last trade of any note I can remember those two teams making was Francisco Liriano for Eduardo Escobar and Pedro Hernandez, which I inexplicably remember off the top of my head because apparently I am a sicko.

    "restricted" to a 3 Win player is a very nice place to be....he was on pace for more than 4 last year, btw....

    We can, and should. We just need to not set those dreams as expectations.... I'd like to think they can do this if they want, I mean, they can....I just don't see it as likely. Alas, as you say.

    Zero chance they deal Rodriguez. Zero. Prielipp? He has no value right now. I'd be shocked if they deal Morris or Matthews, but not completely.

    It's literally completely random odds wise at this point. They seriously lack catching.... So I figured there would be catchers taken.... Mostly surprised at the lack of pitchers.

    That's likely why they picked a hitter at 60..... There just aren't many this year.

    It's every city. I live in Portland, and we know people that won't go into any part of the city. My neighborhood has a super low crime rate, and people ask if we have flack jackets.... Announcing you are cutting payroll during the playoffs is bad marketing. Letting St Peter open his mouth is bad marketing, as he often blames the fans. The Twins need new business leadership, but that's clearly not coming. If they add significant payroll, I'll be truly shocked.

    They played without their best players yesterday. I didn't see how everyone is ignoring that. They beat both Seattle and Houston in their season series..... They have a top ten record in the game.
