  1. They generally have them focus on 1-2 positions....the issue is they don't always pick the right one. Zero people on the planet thought Austin Martin was a SS, and yet..... As to the OP, I don't know how anyone can be anything other than generally pleased at this point. All three have been fine to good process wise.
  2. Got to actually be on the field to make a play.....It's nice to dream on Buxton, but I'm never expecting more than 50-70 healthy games a year at this point. I'd seriously consider not playing him until July next year.* *not really, but sort of. nah, well....hmmm...
  3. I never would have guessed this was the ultimate question!
  4. Ya, I regret my initial post.....as I should have read it in more detail first. My bad.
  5. Agreed, not to mention his comments about fans......
  6. People think a professional MLB hitter doesn't know what to do if he bats 2nd or 3rd or 7th? Like, they literally don't know their role is to get hits? My theory is managers matter much more off the field than on. That this isn't football where the coaches call plays. Does a manager matter on field? Yes. For those saying "he's average" over his tenure.....how many games would a better manager have won the year they had 1 good SP?
  7. I take it kiersey did not play that well?
  8. Where's the lie?
  9. What are you saying, if not that? Read what you wrote.....just above your last reply. What are you saying?
  10. There's a difference between being furstrated, and implying that the players are soft losers who don't care about the team.....big one.
  11. I mean, you just agreed with me. If all goes well, he'll be in the majors for a limited time in two years....
  12. Why they insist on playing short handed every year is beyond me.
  13. No idea. But playing Farmer isn't working at the plate or in the field.
  14. Seriously? This idea that medicine is easy and that guys are soft is ridiculous
  15. Career shmactere. Farmer is done as a player. Can't hit or field
  16. The front office supplies the players, so it's likely they over value utility players.
  17. Not a fan of him in the majors too start next year. aAA and see what happens.
  18. But he's right handed!. This front office signed him to play SS! Unreal
  19. congrats! (not that he's going to read this)
  20. I mean, you're preaching to the choir here......
  21. Nah, one more inning (at least to start) would be my guess.....so 5. Which is fine, but he was on pace for 6.
  22. Games clearly over. I'm going to make dinner.
  23. Not bad considering the "defense"....but another short start. If only there was a relief pitcher in AAA who can go more than one inning....
