  1. I just don't understand how France is on this roster.
  2. I mean, I'm calling up Martin now to replace France. I'm never counting on Rodriguez at this point. I doubt they promote GG until late in the year. Then he starts in the minors next year, because depth....I see them promoting Jenkins in 27 for the control. Frankly, I have zero confidence in this fo at this point..
  3. He retired. I don't get your insistence they should have signed him. He was a favorite while here. I wish him well.
  4. I'd argue France and Vazquez are contributing exactly as expected. Larnach has been this for three years, it's who he is. I don't blame coaches for CC or Lewis. Or give them credit for Buxton or Bader. Wallner is inexperienced enough that I question the coaches. And Lee. Clemens was DFA earlier this year.... It's the front office who should be most questioned. As for Lewis? Injuries have taken their toll. I think our real hope here is he's healthy next year.
  5. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/new-york-mets-top-45-prospects/ 11th, and a 45. About right for a RP.
  6. Sure, but they aren't cutting CC. Agreed, nothing g is going to change any time soon.
  7. Criminal not to pinch hit for France. Who shouldn't even be in the roster.
  8. Sure, but this is an easy decision a first time manager can make. Like, other than getting to the stadium, probably the easiest thing anyone had to do all night.
  9. Absolutely criminal not to PH for France in the seventh. Just fire them all.
  10. Every single report said that. Same with Martin. It's just bad development.
  11. Definitely an issue that isn't fixed three years after overpaying a terrible hitter.
  12. Oblique, but that was before the break, IIRC.
  13. Id also send Lewis to AAA or the IL. If Emma was healthy, Wallner too. Heck, call up GG at this point.
  14. Can't DFA all of them. But I'd certainly get rid of France and Vazquez as a start.
  15. Can they DFA Paddock and France tomorrow please?
  16. Never again is my preference. Martin for France. Sabato. Keaschell when healthy. None of those will happen, and he'll start and be DFA quality.
  17. Well, Diaw is out for the year, so he's at least, at least, two more years away.....Ferrer is in A+, so he's three or so years away minimum. So, not good. I'd prefer they had a prospect at every level that was at least somewhat real....
  18. Not only is France still on the roster (WHY?) he's starting. I just don't understand this FO at all. Ok, sure, handedness....but then put Castro at first, or call up Martin. But France is not good, a real team DFAd him last year for playing like this. In MN? He starts.
  19. Almost no curve balls are thrown in MLB at all anymore. By any team.
