  1. Lots of games with playoff ramifications today, which we don’t always see in the final week. Packers are win and in. NFC South division is still completely undecided among 3 teams. Buffalo potentially plays a Win and #2 seed or lose and go home game tonight. Fun day ahead if you are an NFL fan. QB slotting: Starting Mullins, 2 is Dobbs, 3 Hall Weird stuff: Dalvin Cook was released this week, and picked up by Baltimore.
  2. Detroit -3.5, 47.5, Vikings +166/100 Hopes are dim. Vikings need to win and see Pack lose, Seattle lose on the road to Arizona, and either Tampa Bay or New Orleans lose. Lots of us seem just fine having the Vikings lose and get a nicer draft position. I’m ok with that too. Win-Win! lol
  3. I don’t know if O’Connell has announced his QB for next Sunday, but I would give it to Jaren Hall and let him play the whole game. I don’t know if they are still trying to evaluate Hall or not. If not, then sure release him in the offseason and go with Dobbs or Mullens this week instead. There are people in the league who can identify quarterback talent, though not every team has them. Green Bay seems to have it. Spielman didn’t have it. I would like to know if Adofo-Mensah is that guy or has people to rely on who can. I think in the NFL, you don’t necessarily have to go into deep rebuilds like in baseball. I am fine trying to re-sign Cousins for a discount, but that feels like win-next-year or else, to me. Also, a fourth place schedule next year would be really nice. There is quite a drop with teams like Arizona and Carolina.
  4. Clifford now quarterbacking for Green Bay
  5. That’s the kind of play we need… (unfortunately the score is not great)
  6. 3rd and 1, and… … delay of game.
  7. You gotta hand it to Kirk for that 33-0 comeback last year
  8. Kirk getting hurt really set us back, no doubt. I was still looking forward to watching a playoff game with no expectations this year. We sat through the Zimmer decade and I’m gonna give this regime a couple more seasons to show something. edit—ok maybe not that long
  9. Didn’t have time to type before the play
  10. Honestly the play there is to take the meager amount of points
  11. LOL that play could have gotten Jefferson smoked again
  12. I mean, I guess it’s never too late to sign another guy off the street to play QB for the Lions game next week
  13. I guess if you are in this thread, that means you care?… 🙂 I need to give the new KAM/KOC at least a couple more years before I start hate watching the Vikings again, if that’s what you are wondering. Yes I would have liked to see the Vikings make the playoffs this year (doesn’t look possible at the moment)
  14. Crazy the Bears are still alive for a playoff berth.
  15. This is a bad football team right now. Fortunately the NFL is a game of halfs. Green Bay looks fired up though and I don’t know if the Purple has the talent to mount a comeback.
  16. He looked good that one drive. You can’t blame hall or judge him for his pocket presence on that one strip sack. Mullens is obviously the better passer of the three except for his inability to protect the ball under pressure.
  17. Honestly, I would lean towards Jaren Hall over the other two. He’s not great but he feels more like he could manage a game and not screw something up for no good reason.
  18. What are the chances we see both Mullens AND Dobbs start another game this season
  19. Was it the last one he threw, to the imaginary receiver?
  20. At least Hall is not one of those guys who laterals the ball into the air when he’s being sacked (cough Mullens cough)
  21. Apparently the D got the memo about improving draft position. Nice play by Bynum there, though to no avail
  22. In 1977, Fred Cox’s final year, NFL kickers combined were 8-44 from beyond 50 and the longest was 54
  23. And now Hall looks like Tom Brady lol
