  1. Did we really lose Stewart? His ERA went from 0.68 to 5.17. Clearly not healthy and also not gone from the team. If you thought Staumont was going to continue his success with a 6.6 k/9, I have a bridge to sell you. now, the trade for Richards was really disappointing, im rather upset with the FO and ownership, but the joke is me being upset that as a 40+ year long Twins fan, I should be well accustomed to disappointment
  2. Yes they can according to AZ Phil of The Cub Reporter, quote: 16. A player on a minor league Full-Season IL must remain on the Full- Season IL for the entire minor league season and cannot be reinstated until the 5th day following the final game of the World Series. A player on an MLB injured list can be traded, even if the player is not eligible to be reinstated and/or healthy enough to play. However, a player on a minor league injured list cannot be traded until he is both eligible to be reinstated and healthy enough to play (although the player could be a "Player to Be Named Later" in a trade). If a player on an MLB injured list is traded, the player can be transferred directly from his former club's MLB 7-day, 10-day, 15-day, or 60-day Injured List to the corresponding Injured List of his new club. Days spent on a 7-day, 10-day, 15-day, or 60-day Injured List prior to the trade count toward the minimum number of days required before the player is eligible to be reinstated. If a player on an MLB 60-day Injured List is claimed off waivers after the conclusion of the MLB regular season but prior to the deadline for reinstating players from the 60-day IL, the player can be transferred directly to the claiming club's MLB 60-day IL. A player accrues one day of MLB Service Time for each day of the MLB regular season spent on an MLB Injured List. https://www.thecubreporter.com/book/mlb-roster-rules-presented-arizona-phil-29
  3. “Everyone”? I hadn’t realized that Detroit had converted Faedo to a reliever this year :)
  4. Agreed, though WAR comp isn’t apples to apples, starters don’t go 8 innings very often anymore.
  5. Agreed, I think Woods Richardson is a very good pitcher. He’s also a rookie and has never exceeded 120 innings in a season. At 88 innings this season, he’s likely to run out of gas in October. I’d prefer to not have a Dobnak sighting this post season…
  6. The circles in the turf coincide with the concerts at Target Field nowadays. They crop up the game after said concert and go away in a couple games. I believe you are correct that they are turf patches, but not certain. I noticed the grab and go style of option in May. Agreed with the risk
  7. I have, but not since 2014 ;) but seriously, agreed, this thread needs a bit more nuance. to the OP, I’d like to see Lee at SS instead of Castro. Brooks is supposed to be a decent fielder.
  8. I’ll bet Eddie Julien is on his way to SF right now just in case
  9. A Win is a Win. No style points. Agreed on Ober, awesome to see him settle down as the game progressed!
  10. Currently 3 WAR and 130wRC+ 87 games in, he’s played in 86 of them. go get ‘em Willi!
  11. He’s so good at fouling off a bunch of pitches. I wish we had more of that skill in the lineup
  12. June 20 he started at 2nd then moved to LF. April 13, he started in CF then moved to 2nd. He has a total of 12 MLB innings at 2nd.
  13. Cleveland traded for Corey Kluber, Cliff Lee, Trevor Bauer, some of the greats they drafted, but most were not. Falvey wasn’t hired to be a pitching coach, he was hired to be an executive…. sorry to derail… Agreed with Mike, bring the kid up as a reliever
  14. Agreed, but we don’t really know how this worked. MLB players getting through a 162 game schedule without aches and pains, and hurts is impossible, but the players play through them. how many of the playing through aches and pains are off nights at the plate, or 5 and fly start? It’s sometimes hard to tell where the threshold is.
  15. June 16, I believe in the nightcap. fangraphs game log doesn’t specify which game on 6/16’s doubleheader
