  1. Keaschall as well, he’s a DH, maybe he can play 1b and not be a liability
  2. I want to see what Jackson has ahead of Caratini. back in August when they DFA’d Jackson and snuck him through waivers, he should have stayed in AAA. But now that he’s up? Caratini is clearly not the answer for 2027. good for Erod, he and Jenkins need to be on the outfield every day
  3. This sees the forest for the trees, or Occam’s razor… or whatever… bad wording to say, it was obvious that there’s no conspiracy, just waiting for the AAA season to wind down
  4. The CBA has to be for the season. In that sense it has to be immediate. They could potentially negotiate season by season cap and floor over the span of the CBA, but the more complicated the contract gets, the less likely it will be ratified.
  5. Can Zoll and let the new GM hire the manager they want? I don’t think Managers do that much.
  6. If you can trade Ober, great! I gotta think his Arb salary will be higher than what he signs for in free agency Im starting Kremer because he’s a decent back of the rotation guy and out of options. The other 5 have options remaining, and there’s not a lot in double A pushing for ML roster positions. Paredes is a huge drop off, and it’s threadbare behind him
  7. I like Bubic, I think the Twins can help him refine his sweeper so it’s not so fat in the zone rotation Ryan Lopez Bradley Bubic Kremer AAA Abel Matthews Rojas Prielipp Paredes
  8. They had all those starters except Kremer and still ran out of starters by the third week of April and I’m non-tendering Ober, he’s cooked. im signing a mid-rotation starter Re-signing Jeffers C Signing 1b/DH to pair with Keaschall (I’d love Jake Bauers) Extending one of Lopez or Ryan (2028+ money) guessing Lopez is the most likely
  9. Royce has 400 pas of magic and then 1000 pas below average. Fangraphs projected him to be 105 wRC+ and he likely won’t reach that lofty height. Time to move on. Keaschall hits, but that’s as far as his skills go, if he can’t field 1b, he should DH. I’d look to free agency for 1b/DH, plan on Keaschall being 1b, but if he can’t scoop the low throws, swap him with the FA.
  10. Assuming Ryan comes back strong, 6 man rotation through the end of season? or do they shut Prielipp down after his start tomorrow?
  11. Per my mlb push notification, Ryan takes the bump tonight, Acton sent to AAA https://www.mlb.com/news/joe-ryan-set-to-return-from-injured-list?adobe_mc=TS%3D1788790167|MCMID%3D33254733857238752764790576759158012592|MCORGID%3DA65F776A5245B01B0A490D44@AdobeOrg&affiliateId=mlbapp-ios_webview_news-index&rsid=mlbios.at.bat.new.implementation
  12. Hate’s a strong word, but I do agree with the OP that the Pohlad family played a switcheroo on which figurehead does what, but at the end of the day, it’s the same family owning and running their entire suite of businesses and until things actually change with how they run the Twins, we should hold that family accountable. I was a season ticket holder until 2025, and I will be a season ticket holder again, but they need to show me. Thus far, it’s lip service and trivial salary
  13. Tom was the chairman of Pohlad Companies in 2023 when the Pohlad family cut the legs out from under a contender. I’m pretty sure Tom was a real big reason why that happened. as for prospect capital, Jeffers is the only impending free agent with any value. I do not agree they missed out on an egregious haul. It was something, but not insurmountable.
  14. As tongue in cheek as this is, he’s the best or second best lefty starter they’ve had in a decade. Of course being the best of 6 isn’t saying much.
  15. 1/10 of 1%… but directionally agree with you
  16. I would have dfa’d Jackson again and brought up both Roden and Gonzalez.
