  1. My prediction: Pelf to the 15 day DL due to shoulder injury, Deduno to the rotation, Pressly gets called up.
  2. Or a Dominoes Specialty Chicken
  3. Has no one seen this fine film? http://movies.disney.com/invincible
  4. How do you post a profit selling a product no one will buy?
  5. Good point Ordorizzi isn't Price, but looked like him until he lost the feel for the change up. Not many Price's out there, but there's a whole bunch of Ordorizzi's.
  6. I'm more worried about whiffs than BABIP at this point. According to walk rate, eventually pitchers are going to start throwing more hitable pitches knowing Twins batters are reluctant to swing. The natural response is to swing more frequently. Similarly to the gripe about "pitch to contact" here with the Twins, other teams will see the same 2012-2013 Twins issue of putting many balls into play for many teams will lead to more errors and plays that cannot be made. My fear is this team won't put that many into play, just strike out on hitable pitches.
  7. Next time I'm in the neighborhood, I will stop by. Sounds like a great place, and the Groveland Tap is one of my favorite places in the metro.
  8. Per http://blogs.twincities.com/twins/2014/04/24/twinsights-overlooked-again-chris-colabello-was-left-off-the-all-star-ballot/ Chris Colabello will not be on the All-Star Ballot. It's not too early (well, OK maybe just a bit) to start the write-in campaign. Being elected by the fans to the All-Star game would seal the deal on a Disney inspirational sports drama starring Mark Walberg. Who's with me?
  9. Agreed. Also, Rosario was moved out of need before Dozier took ownership of 2b. The Twins have a larger need in the outfield next year as Kubel, and Willingham are not long term outfielders. Hicks looks lost, and Arcia and Colabello are both good hitters, but not good fielders. I think Rosario gets moved to the outfield when he comes back. I'd like to see Escobar SS and Dozier 2b the rest of the season.
  10. I can't fault you for misspelling Jared, he's been pretty forgettable.
  11. Man Burton is having a bad game/season
  12. I didn't catch that, thx, makes much more sense
  13. I think pretty much everyone here on TD is certain the walks and runs that come with them, will tail off at some point. The differences come at when.
  14. Why is Dozier trying to bunt for a hit?
  15. Florimon was flailing wildly like he was desperate to keep his job, and way over matched.
  16. It was Winston I was thinking of!
  17. His throw was ok considering, but in the past on similar plays, he's botched the throw terribly. His hitting seems to be carrying over to fielding, at least he's not making the big mistakes as often.
  18. Who wants to go to a Rays game and sit at the kitchen table? Judging by the attendance, no one.
  19. Who is it with the logo of the kid with the sour look on his face?
  20. And he didn't throw it into the stands
  21. I make hard cider all the time... The uncooked dead fish I'm not such a fan of.
  22. I'm kidding, Pelf has settled in here pretty well. Maybe he'll get out of the 5th.
