  1. only cuz the Donald would be president of Wisconsin as well.... If he became governor of Minnesota, I guarantee the entire population of Minneapolis and St Paul flock for Hudson
  2. yeah ok, I can't argue how f@&$?&-up that was
  3. the Minnesotans (who don't even sell liquor on Sunday) call Canadians ignorant stone aged drunks just as much as Wisconsinites. We're supposed to stick together man!
  4. sure I am, and I share my specialness with all of TD ;-)
  5. i take it personally. Molitor is trying to drive me bat-poop crazy
  6. I think Pitching in general is a weakness for this team. Where KC has mediocre starters but the relievers can carry the wins. This team has no one behind Perkins, May, and Jepsen. My prediction is those three get overworked in the first half of the season while Molly waits for the reinforcements to reach maturity. If 1-2 of the triple-A guys doesn't get ready and come up quickly, and show his value in the MLB, it could be a real tough year.
  7. im really disappointed there aren't better options for both of them.
  8. I'm happy you have your ability to voice your opinion, even if I disagree.

  10. fair, it was an outlier not the norm, still those guys are available at reasonable trade costs and normal overpriced free agency rates. You don't have to give up the farm to get a 5th starter
  11. the issue wasn't the trade of Gogo, it was the treatment and patience. I'm not sure Buck and Gogo are good comps though. Buck seems to have a better head for the game, but that's just conjecture based on a handful of articles I read on the internets. Personally I find it reassuring Buxton is trying to adopt a more aggressive approach at the plate. I agree the Otis Nixon batting avg/obp comp is a different era of baseball. .278/.351 in 2016 would be a great season to build upon.
  12. right, and if May proves in 2015 that he's not well suited to the rotation, but is well suited to the bullpen, how much worse than Nolasco could he be? How hard would it be to sign or trade for a Nolasco/Milone type guy if you did lose one of them? Criminy they got Milone for a 5th outfielder But if they gave May a shot and he ends up being special, the gamble pays off. If they don't give May a shot in 2015, when? At what point does he become a reliever?
  13. Why can't Santana, Gibson, and Hughes be 3,4,5 in the rotation? Berrios 1, May 2. It's not like the rotation was very good last year or any of the years in the previous 4
  14. on what basis? You can't take everything TR says at face value.
  15. I think Duffey can succeed in the Rotation too. However I would spin your phrase around. Hard to see Duffey in the rotation over Nolasco because this team has a history of deferring to vets and refusing to give up on bad contracts, of which Nolasco is both. You are right, that bullpen Seth predicted looks very realistic, and very poor. They need help and Duffey could very successful there. The rotation needs help too as 123 needs to become 345 or 235. With May now a reliever, who else is ready/close besides Berrios? There's several pitchers getting close in the pen. Not many starters. The pitching will be a sore point until the next wave can establish themselves.
