Meanwhile in the desert, Ross Dunn has an ERA over 20 so far in the 2026 Arizona Fall League.

He apparently hurt his knee on a defensive play. After, you could see him reaching for his knee and rubbing it. I think that's why they took him out. Hopefully precautionary.. I'll keep monitoring twins daily for an official update

If Twins released Arcia I have to think they release Gray. Therefore, it's time to promote the Twins' future SS Marek Houston to St. Paul.
  16. HFC
It appears Marek Houston was HBP twice and ejected from last night's game. Hopefully not injured. What does anyone know about this incident?

It seems to me that Zebby has the stuff and mental capacity to be a successful closer.

Hi Sam. Might you know what happened to Mendez in the last year's Arizona Fall League? He hit a home run in first at bat and then a few days later he was no longer with the team. At the time I couldn't find an announcement with an explanation. Either way, I'm happy he found success at AA and has a chance in St Paul.

Seems all that I've been reading on this site over the last four years is how great Brooks Lee is, how talented Culpepper is, and how the farm system is one of the best in baseball. Now I read this article from Twins Daily, telling me Brooks is too slow (is this new?) and is out of position, Culpepper is a great athlete but isn't a capable of taking the most direct path to the ball., Then, Jenkins is the second coming of superman but isn't good enough to make what they are sure will be a crappy team out of camp. On top of that, Festa and Zebby who at one time were dominant can't miss starters are now only good enough to throw one inning out of a horrible MLB bullpen. Seems this site just shifts with the wind. Are these prospects really not that good as I've been led to believe?

I'm curious to know, how Carlos performed after the trade? Did he suffer any injuries? Were his numbers much better than Lee's?
  21. HFC
How about Justin Morneau? He's been around the team and players would respect him.
  22. HFC
I support Brooks and Luke playing there pretty much every day next year. Let them settle in and develop chemistry.
  23. HFC
Since he missed so many games this season I hope he plays in the Arizona Fall League.

Nice article. It would be interesting to see how picks 6-10 are doing, the guys they passed on.
