Justin Lebron - let’s go Twins

Per Bobby N: Another big Dodgers offseason addition: Former Twins manager Rocco Baldelli is joining their front office, linking up again with Andrew Friedman. https://www.startribune.com/rocco-baldelli-former-twins-manager-joining-los-angeles-dodgers-front-office/601542875

No one else is reporting this and the link takes me to a article about the Vikings?
  4. thelanges5
Bruin Agbayani is 18 and only played 5 games at Ft Myers. Maybe not the ceiling of Young but looked pretty good in his pro debut.
  5. thelanges5
I’d like them to keep Jeffers and also use a rule 5 pick on Daniel Susac. Catching is still a position with little to no depth for the Twins. https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=susac-000dan&utm_medium=linker&utm_source=diamondcentric.net&utm_campaign=2025-11-25_br

You’re welcome MLB world! Happy to see everyone having lots of speculation fun at the expense of those of us in Twins Territory. Give us some direction Pohlads, minority owners?, Falvey, Zoll!?! Anyone, Bueller?
  7. thelanges5
Don’t trust the Pohlads or Falvey with a rebuild. Sad state of affairs in Twins Territory.

This is my 2nd roster for 2026, The first one I kept under $100k. For this one I made some moves and spent some $$. This team is a little more competitive and interesting. Sign Okamoto to play 1B for 3/$36, could go to 3/$45 Sign Andujar to play some LF and 1B Start E-Rod or Gabby out of ST in RF Trade Larnach for a MLB reliever Sign another Coulombe/Thielbar type Sign Kenley Jansen to close and provide some veteran leadership to the pen C: Ryan Jeffers ($6.60M) 1B: Okamoto ($12.00M) 2B: Luke Keaschall ($0.80M) 3B: Royce Lewis ($3.00M) SS: Brooks Lee ($0.80M) LF: Andujar ($5.00M) CF: Byron Buxton ($15.00M) RF: E-Rod/Gabby ($0.80M) DH: Wallner ($0.80M) 4th OF: Alan Roden ($0.80M) Utility: Austin Martin ($0.80M) Utility: Clemens ($1.10M) Backup C: Jackson ($1.80M) POS: Ghost of Dior ($10M) SP1: Pablo Lopez ($21.75M) SP2: Joe Ryan ($5.80M) SP3: Bailey Ober ($4.60M) SP4: Simeon Woods Richardson ($0.80M) SP5: Bradley ($0.80M) RP: Justin Topa ($1.30M) RP: Kody Funderburk ($0.80M) RP: Cole Sands ($1.30M) RP: Pierson Ohl ($0.80M) RP: Travis Adams ($0.80M) RP: Larnach trade return ($3.50M) RP: Jansen ($8.00M) RP: Coulombe type ($3.50M) POS: Add Dead Money Here ($0.00M) Payroll is 2.70% over budget

If they are doing any adding, how about Hoskins for $5-7mil and he’s a righty.
  10. thelanges5
Gasper, McCrusher, Pereda, Julien, Kreidler, Fitz - they have DFA options if they need the room.
  11. thelanges5
I’m still holding out hope that they trade Larnach for a Fulmer/Coulombe type reliever. I don’t like this but - Wallner DH, Buck CF, Outman RF, Roden LF, Martin 4th OF. Outman is only around because he backs up Buck. At AAA ready for an injury/performance call up: E-Rod, Gonzalez, Jenkins, Fedko McCrusher and Gasper should be DFAd for rule 5 draft or other trade spots. I assume it’s Fitz and Kreidler duking it out to backup Lee at SS. That’s a depressing sentence. Go Twins!
  12. thelanges5
Maybe they haven’t found a trade partner yet. They can still trade him after they settle on a salary.
  13. thelanges5
Bobby N: The Twins tendered a contract to all their arbitration-eligible players, including Trevor Larnach. DaShawn Keirsey Jr. was released and is now a free agent.
  14. thelanges5
The #MNTwins have tendered a contract to Trevor Larnach, per Darren Wolfson
  15. thelanges5
$1.8 mil for a backup C with some upside. Sounds good to me.
  16. thelanges5
Darren Wolfson of KSTP reports that Topa will be guaranteed $1.225MM in 2026 by his new contract.
  17. thelanges5
Agreed to terms with Topa, but I haven’t seen the dollar figure. Jackson projects for 1.8 million.
  18. thelanges5
    Keirsey dropped from the 40.
  19. thelanges5
Larnach for a bullpen piece with MLB experience needs to happen. Keep Topa for $1.7m. They have other guys they can drop for rule 5 adds or FA signings.
  20. thelanges5
Pretty sure it is just based on record in reverse order. Twins should have the fourth pick.
  21. thelanges5
Plenty of potential room on the 40 man. Gasper, Julien, Kreidler, Keirsey, Outman, McCrusher.
  22. thelanges5
Bullpen can be built by throwing stuff against the wall and seeing if it sticks. Sign the two pitchers to minor league deals and see what happens.
  23. thelanges5
The first block in the bullpen rebuild. Let’s go Twins.
  24. thelanges5
RHP Eric Orze was acquired from TB for minor leaguer Jacob Kisting.
  25. thelanges5
Rule 5 protection. Twins added to the 40: -LHP Connor Prielipp -RHP Andrew Morris -LHP Kendry Rojas -RHP John Klein -OF Gabriel Gonzalez -OF Hendry Mendez
