  1. I guess I’m always hopeful that feast will show up instead of famine. Alas, maybe that’s why I am so sad.
  2. So the offense that makes 9 ERA pitchers look good is the one that showed up tonight. Cool
  3. 40 is at 40 with the Arcia/Topa swap. You are correct that Jackson would need a spot.
  4. How many times did Hunter and Morneau go up and down before they finally stuck? Maybe Royce and the Twins will be better off for it in the end.
  5. Dan Hayes: According to multiple sources, the #MNTwins have optioned Royce Lewis.
  6. Interested to see what they do. Both Jackson and Arcia would need a 40 man spot.
  7. Theo Tollefson on the Saints: St. Paul Saints lineup for an 11:07 start today. Orlando Arcia and Alex Jackson are on the bench. #MNTwins catcher Ryan Jeffers did leave last night with a left wrist sprain, which he is getting an MRI on today. Plus Tristan Gray is expected to go on paternity leave any day.
  8. Would expect some roster moves this week. Jeffers?, bullpen looking tired, Royce, Buck in or out? After a day off Thursday, they have a 16 game stretch.
  9. Laweryson pitched a clean inning in rehab at AAA this weekend. He was looking good before his injury.
  10. I don’t think they will, but he’d probably make it through waivers and end up back in St. Paul.
  11. For what it’s worth they don’t really have any one on the 40 man at AAA that can play centerfield. That said, I hate when they run a 25 man roster. Buxton update last night from Bobby N: Byron Buxton is out of the Twins lineup for a fifth day. Derek Shelton, when asked if Buxton was close to returning, said, “very close.” Buxton ran pregame Sunday and he’s doing outfield drills today.
  12. Bobby N Target Field update: The Twins plan to resume their game against the Astros at 9:50 p.m. Twins lead 3-0 in the fifth inning.
  13. What does this mean for SWR? Didn’t give him another start with Bradley still out?
  14. Better late than never, but these are the types of moves they should’ve been making after the fire sale. Get some young guys up and start getting them used to a BP role. I like what I’ve seen from Morris so far.
  15. Obviously need Buck back in the lineup and I don’t want him to go on the IL, but this organization loves to run a 25 man roster.
  16. Fun little stat - Prielipp is the first starter in Twins history to give up 2 or fewer earned runs in each of his first 5 career outings.
  17. Feel bad for Shelty but he knew what he was getting himself into. Same core lineup and the same results for the past three season. Zoll has some tough decisions to make.
  18. Royce Lewis and James Outman have identical .554 OPS.
  19. Arcia/Gray platoon would be better than Lewis at this point.
  20. 0-8 RISP. Feast or famine offense. Looked pretty good against Cleveland and the Marlins but nonexistent this series.
  21. The only thing I’ve seen is this per Dan Hayes: Byron Buxton is out of the lineup for a third straight day, but he was on the field participating in baseball activities and generally in good spirits. #MNTwins
