    I’m not surprised by the Rocco news. He lasted longer than most would with his track record. 2019 and 2023 were fun and he’ll be remembered for those seasons. The biggest surprise is that Falvey and Zoll got promoted after the 2024 collapse. They built the rosters that Rocco was managing. Falvey as the president of both the baseball and business side? Tom Pohlad said we shouldn’t question their investment in the team but we should question their decision making.

    Bizarro Zebby stayed in TC, good Zebby was in TX. He continues to tease us with what he can do. Hopefully he works on his command in the off season. The stolen bases have been a nice addition. Go Twins!

    Jeffers back, Pereda on the taxi squad. Jeffers to DH? I wouldn’t want him to catch and take another foul off the helmet in the last six games.

    I love the Joe Ryan experience, but can he pitch well in August and September? Injury, fatigue, illness, he’s mad at the front office. It all adds up to the same thing. If he is mad at the front office and wants out, his performance is not helping his arbitration or making him more attractive to other teams.

    Royce’s trajectory is heading in the right direction. He’s been playing solid defense and has some stolen bases. His hitting has been getting better and I agree that it appears he needs to simplify things at the plate. He’s got a 111 OPS+ for his career with some high highs and low lows. I realize there are a lot of “ifs” for this team going into 2026. But if Lewis can continue to play solid D and keep his OPS+ in the 110-120 range, I’ll sign up for that.

    I see Bader didn’t waste any time making his Phillies crop top. For Buck’s sake I hope FO and Pohlads put together a team that can compete in 2026.

    Tingler and Rocco are too similar and that is one of the problems.

    It’s obvious that there’s no love for Rocco on TD. I haven’t seen a lot of names so I’m wondering who you all think would be a good replacement? Plouffe recently threw out Torii Hunter on a Skor North podcast. I have been thinking on this since I heard it and it does make sense. I love the way Torii played the game and he was/is a fan favorite (at least in my circles). He’s currently a special advisor for the Angels so I don’t think it would take much to pry him away. I didn’t like seeing him in their dugout on the last LA trip.
