  1. Gleeman: Joe Ryan has allowed 5+ runs in 5 of his last 10 starts. Ryan allowed 5+ runs in 5 of his previous 54 starts. Joe Ryan's career ERA by month: April — 2.77 May — 2.59 June — 4.25 July — 4.80 Aug. — 4.41 Sept. — 4.45
  2. So maybe he cannot pitch this far into the season? Hasn’t been able to due to injuries in prior seasons.
  3. Why sully a new manager with a 100 loss season in 2026. Let Rocco wear it.
  4. We’ll play spoilers this weekend, but it won’t be due to winning. Sorry Detroit Tigers, I’d rather see you guys in the playoffs than the Guardos.
  5. Depressing stats - Gleeman: With three more head-to-head matchups remaining, the Twins have lost the season series vs. the Guardians for the fourth consecutive year. They are 18-37 (.327) against Cleveland during that time, equivalent to a 53-109 record in a full season.

  7. Wallner to the IL (oblique) and Keirsey up. Wallner’s season effectively done.
  8. Twins playing my least favorite team this week. They are on a 13-2 streak and have a record of 79-61 .564 vs the Twins in the Falvey era.
  9. Dare to dream. Nothing suggests that the Pohlads will do anything but pocket the $$. 100 loss season forthcoming, which sucks.
  10. Gleeman: Twins are now 46-127 (.266) vs. the Yankees since 2002, including the playoffs. They've won 1 season series in 23 years. All three Twins managers since 2002 have a winning percentage below .270 vs. the Yankees. .269 — Ron Gardenhire .262 — Rocco Baldelli .259 — Paul Molitor
  11. Batters actually held their own this series. Nice to see. Great game by SWR.
  12. Yanks and Guardos this week. My two least favorite teams of all time.
  13. So depressing and how much does this actually save? The Pohlads are terrible at business. WTF did we do to deserve this?
  14. Too bad Zebby pooped the bed and didn’t have a somewhat decent outing. Like to see the batters chipping away.
  15. Outman drives in his Twin brother Fitzgerald.
  16. .201 now Wallner, clinging to that Mendoza line.
  17. Last night must’ve been some sort of Freaky Friday thing. Both teams are back to normal here tonight.
  18. So Zebby’s not good. That sucks, I kinda like him.
  19. Clemens can stay, Outman can go Move Wallner to 1B/DH Trade Larnach for the best MLB reliever possible Roden gets a chance in ST to show what he can do Need to find some RH power if there’s any money available
  20. The third point is the most depressing. The Pohlads still own the Twins. We have no idea who the limited partners are or if they’ll have any say in the direction of the team. Based on the past, we can only assume that they will continue to run this like a business and that we are looking at a 100 loss season in 2026.
