  1. Who is going to pitch if they trade Joe now? They barely have 5 starters with him in the mix.
  2. They don’t need to hurry to make a decision with three games until the All-Star break. Plus this club loves to play with a short bench. Whether it is a guy that sits and probably should be on the IL, or rostering a guy that they have no intention of starting (Fedko, Outman, Keirsey, McCusker, Stevenson, Helman to name a few).
  3. I enjoyed it. I agree with some of the others that maybe it could be spread throughout the season instead of all in one week. Coincides with Provus’s time off so makes sense that it is condensed. Nice job changing it up twins.tv.
  4. Interesting take. I hadn’t really thought about starting pitcher as a trade deadline position. Been more focused on the bullpen.
  5. Keep him, offer the QO, he bets on himself and leaves, Twins get a comp pick.
  6. Jeffers - Not my $$ but if it was I'd offer the QO. He likely doesn't take it and I get the comp draft pick. Ryan - I'd extend him but if he's not interested, keep him for now and revisit in Dec or next trade deadline. Buck - Twin for life! Larnach - trade for Vodnik, Senzatela, Bradgley Rodriguez (throw in a lottery pick if you need it). Bell - I'm listening but his bat w/RISP is pretty nice. Trade a few prospects outside the top 15 for a MLB reliever. Haven't really thought this out but a peak Michael Fulmer type dude.
  7. Tough sledding when your top 4 hitters go 0-12 with 8ks. .500 or better record
  8. A closer with 27 saves, we can only dream about that.
  9. Good Ober, bad bats and bullpen. Don’t sleep on the Angels, they’ve been hitting some HRs and scoring runs lately.
  10. Per Gleeman: 🤔 Ryan Jeffers is back in the Twins’ clubhouse this morning after completing a rehab assignment with Triple-A St. Paul. No official word yet on his expected return from the injured list, but Jeffers said he feels good and is comfortable with how his wrist responded to game action.
  11. Gray shouldn’t even be on the roster but Culpepper is on the IL.
  12. Guardians first back to back homers of the season. Guardos Devil Magic 👹
  13. Per Bobby N: Bailey Ober is coming back to start Thursday’s game against the Guardians. Marco Raya is going on the 15-day IL because of a right shoulder impingement.
  14. Per Gleeman: Luke Keaschall is making his first MLB start in center field tonight. Derek Shelton said he passed the early test in right field and the Twins think his speed/athleticism will work well in center field.
  15. Roden season debut tonight?!? W.S. Go will be wearing number one on his jersey. Will he be number one in our hearts?
  16. Larnach is hitting .289 .384 .443 and has 6 HR, 130 OPS+ Trevor Lawrence?
