  1. Pohlads won’t fire themselves, they have the largest slice in the pie of blame (shame). As many have mentioned firing is not the Pohlad way. I’d be very surprised if they do anything other than a Tingler-type firing. Heard this on Skor North and I like it #bringbackToriiHunter
  2. 3 for 16 RISP; 11 LOB. Twins now 29th in OPS w/RISP. So sick of the offense, just terrible.
  3. Hate this offense; 0-7 w/RISP again today Gleeman sums it up: Twins have hit .199 with a .594 OPS with runners in scoring position since the All-Star break. Not only are those both dead last in MLB, no other team has an AVG below .225 or an OPS below .650.

  5. Good on Buck and Joe speaking out. The owners and FO have not shared any plans or vision. In the absence of that communication players, media, fans are going to fill in the gaps. These guys have the ability to control the narrative, but have said nothing.
  6. 100 loss season for sure if those fellas are traded. Sad times ahead.
  7. Subtle difference. Control is the ability to throw strikes. Command is the ability to put the ball where you want it.
  8. The offense is maddening. Another 0 fer RISP night and we are only above Pit and Col in OPS w/RISP. Id normally say pitching doesn’t matter when the offense looks this bad but some of the shine is starting to wear off of Zebby for me.
  9. Lewis has been trending the right direction as of late. Twins desperately need happy, good Lewis not bizarro Lewis. The Moose has tantalizing power but that .200 BA is tough to get behind. If he could get that in the .230s and keep everything else the same? That’s a big IF. “Shows flashes of dazzling brilliance”, was once used by my company to describe middling performance. This is Lee for me. There’s some goodness there but can he be more consistent?
  10. Outman looks cooked at the plate and in the field. Martin could be the 4th OF. He’s been better but needs to continue to work on routes and heads up base-running. Color me interested.
  11. Matthew Leach: Twins announce Woods Richardson, Matthews, Bradley as starters for Anaheim, so six guys in six days on this trip. Baldelli has said they do not intend to go to go with six starters for any extended period of time, so presumably after the off day they’ll make an adjustment.
  12. So apparently not only have we hit rock bottom, we’re gonna settle in there for the rest of the season. Why pitch Joe if he’s been sick this week? Hatch and Kriske were involved when the White Sox scored 12 and the Padres too. I know there’s better options than these two guys.
  13. The Pohlads have even ruined this exercise. Hard to think about anything other than bare bones payroll and trading more guys. Would be nice if we had a sense of their vision or who the limited partners are. We just witnessed the Twins and White Sox trading places and that sucks!
  14. One, some, or all of the things listed would be great. All they’ve done since October 2023 is the exact opposite. I have little to no faith that they will do anything to make this team watchable/likeable in 2026.
  15. Getting harder and harder to find reasons to follow this club. Buck Ryan And Keaschall, maybe Jenkins and Culpepper.
  16. “The Twins take their third crack at trying to win a game at home against the worst team in the American League on Wednesday.” I think the Twins are now the worst team in the AL.
  17. Gleeman: Twins pitchers have an AL-worst 5.29 ERA since the trade deadline.
  18. Bobby N: The Twins announced a paid crowd of 11,271 tonight. It’s their smallest September crowd in Target Field history.
  19. Sadly I don’t think they give a ****
  20. Twins would have to win tomorrow and Thursday in order to salvage the season series.
