  1. There's no chance that those three will remain healthy or playable for the balance of the season after their return. History!!!!
  2. Maybe bringing Varland back to get these bullpen woes squared away, might be a wise decision right now. Could slip into the rotation later if needed there.
  3. Boring is right. Watching Julien taking all those called third strikes in the leadoff spot....hoping for a walk....boring +.
  4. Where's the hitting coach.? Isn't it their charge to correct or change hitting approaches where obviously needed?
  5. Due to all of Bucks past history, anything over a hundred plus game appearances would be an overwhelming success and a division title come fall.
  6. Lefty Funderburk belongs on the opening day roster.. Don't understand some of management's off season bullpen acquisitions.
  7. Although it was a small sample, his outings in 23 show that he belongs. He'll have a spot in the bullpen when they break camp.
  8. Whow!!! If Royce can stay healthy, he can carry and be the sparkplug of the Twins for many years to come. A true difference maker.
  9. Spending too much time in the dugout watching themselves on their tablets. Get yourselves into the ballgame and whats happening on the field. Take their tablets away Rocco.
  10. Plus #1 with runners left in scoring position with two outs.
  11. Although we have just a small sample of the new season, it appears the acquisition of Vazques has pushed Jeffers game to another level, both at bat and behind the plate.
  12. Neither Lee or Ober are going anywhere. Ober is going to break into the starting 5 sometime early in the season and become a solid contributer in the rotation.
  13. Agree... History will repeat itself. Even 80 games is a reach for me.
  14. It seems Ober is the odd man out if they go with a five man rotation. Where will he fit in or how will he be used throughout the season.
  15. I remember Mauer and Vargas hitting solo homeruns in the bottom of the ninth...defeating St.Louis 2 to 1 at Target Field. A huge Gatorade and Bubblegum bath at home plate.
  16. Love watching Varland pitch. No nonsense....right back to the rubber and waiting for the sign and next pitch. New rules no effect on his approach. Looking forward to him breaking into the top five sometime soon.
  17. Agree...that's how I see it also. Archer and Bundy were drags on both the rotation and bullpen last year.
  18. If we get the Lopez of 22 and the Galo of 21, we're in for an exciting season..
  19. Anyone of the Julien, Lee, Lewis group are about to break through with equal hitting impact and likwise will become a new "fan favorite". I like the trade. Great addition to our pitching staff.
