  1. I definitely think it is time for new hitting coaches, at the very least it se ds a message to the rest of the staff that better result are expected and that mire changes will be coming if things don't improve alot. I think someone like mauer or Morneau would make an interesting hitting coach as they are former batting champs who also could hit with pop.
  2. Not necessarily a bad trade but don't see the positive considering Margot and Buxton both have had trouble staying healthy its likely one of them will be on the IL by the end of april
  3. I would offer Polanco, Festa, Rodriguez, acala, and Sabato
  4. I think the best bet fir the twins is to trade Kepler and Polanco together in a trade with perhaps a prospect or 2 to aquire Logan gilbert from the Mariners, they have a need for both infield and outfield help and moving gilbert makes room for them sign Seattle native blake snell who wants to play there
  5. I would amend trade 3 as follows Polanco, Kepler, Rodriguez and larnach for gilbert.
  6. As I have said multiple times before I feel the best option for the twins is to work out a trade with Houston for Chas Mccormick, he has some team control left, making him financially affordable, he can play anywhere in the outfield, is a solid hitter and defender, and he's right handed. Also the Astros have shown interest in Vasquez, so putting in a package with say Emmanuel Rodriguez and sands might be too good for them to pass up.
  7. A trade between the twins and Seattle makes perfect sense, the twins need a good starting pitcher with a reason salary, and the mariner could use Polanco and Kepler. Not to mention blake snell wants to play for his hometown mariners.
  8. I agree with signing hoskins and acquiring Keller but I would trade larnach and if needs be add Sabato to the deal in place of waller. Also I would move Polanco and farmer in a package with prospects to Seattle for Logan Gilbert, and make trade with Houston sending a package of Kepler, Vasquez and some prospects for Chas Mccormick
  9. First off of players mentioned I would only trade Rodriguez and as for the likes of veterans like Polanco, Kepler, farmer, and Vasquez I would use those as pieces in a trade package. Do not forget the Astros are interested in Vasquez and the mariners are very interested in Polanco. Perhaps putting Vasquez and Rodriguez in a package for Chaz Mccormick who is right handed and can play center field with some team control left. Then move Polanco, farmer, and a couple prospects for a good pitcher like Gilbert or kirby from the mariners. Use the veterans to minimize the need to trade projects while filling needs and cutting payroll.
  10. I say trade Polanco, farmer, and Festa for Gilbert, it gives Seattle 2 infielders and a future pitcher and the twins get a front of the rotation pitcher in return. It also clears twins payroll to bring in a bat, or even to retain gray
  11. Pass on all I say trade with Houston for Chaz Mccormick
  12. Move royce Lewis to first and have brooks Lee play 3rd
  13. I think the best way forward is to trade for a Keller and/or Gilbert, then aquire Chaz Mccormick from houston
  14. I would trade Rodriguez before lee, and would even consider adding Kyle farmer to a deal as I doubt they would pass up adding to good infielders with big league experience in the same deal
  15. I think trading fir Glasgow makes sense but I would adjust the deal to be larnach, balazovic, and perhaps Moran fir Glasgow and $5 million dollars to offset his contract price because clearly dropping salary seems to be a big deal for the rays
  16. They need to trade for Chaz Mccormick, he's reasonably priced and hits right handed. He adds lineup depth and allows for Buxton to be moved to right or left field immediately
  17. They need to spend with the big boys this off-season, budget be damned. The division is wide open and if they bring in bigger names they will sell more tickets and more merchandise. That increases overall revenue as well. You have to spend money to make money
  18. I say this is the off-season that the fo needs to go for it. Cost be damned. I say bring back gray, sign snell. Then aquire Chaz Mccormick to give us a centerfielder. And perhaps Tommy pham to bolster the corner of.
  19. If we're up to me I'd bring back gray and sign snell. And to top it of trade for Chaz Mccormick to bolster the lineup, maybe even consider jorge soler to give a bonus boost to the lineup. Adding funderburk and Varland to the pen
  20. I would never trade him, if Buxton can't stay healthy or play center field long term then Rodriguez is our best in house option. And if Buxton plays well enough and Rodriguez is nearing the big leagues by the end of 2025 then Buxton becomes a trading chip
  21. I would keep Gordon abd Acala, and pick up options on kepler and Polanco. In the very least they become trading chips
  22. I would definitely agree with everything in the article but would keep Gordon for roster flexibility and possible trade bait if he has a good first half and we need a piece elsewhere at the mid-season trade deadline. Acala should be considered for retention only if the coaching staff can turn him around
  23. I think if they just shut him down for the rest of the season and post season, then have him work towards being ready for next year, is the best option. If he doesn't come around next year then Emmanuel Rodriguez is in high a now with a good chance at reaching by the end of next season which give the twins another top centerfold prospect to take over for Buxton. AND if Buxton turns it around and Rodriguez tears up the minors, it give the twins a chance to trade Buxton with some value. I do know from experience knee injuries can take a long time to come back from especially when there are set backs.
  24. I would say package him with larnach or celestino for prospects, possibly even waiting to see if he has a good training camp in the spring to up his value
  25. Definitely keep him and the logical solution get everyone playing time is a rotational dh next year to help keep players healthy.
