  1. I would exercise both Kepler and Polanco options and if it comes down to it they can be traded.
  2. I think they could use at least 1 or 2 more good arms but don't forget the bullpen was overworked against the didgeridoo in part because a game that could have ended sooner, likely with a twins win was extended and blown by ridiculous umpire mistakes that even the dodgers broadcasting team felt the twins were screwed by the umps. Jax and thielbar are solid, and duran and Lopez give us a good back end to the pen. However letting coolumbe get away was a mistake as Moran does have control issues and pagan needs to be moved on from. The bull pen just needs more depth. Also Stewart has been a nice addition.
  3. It was a trade risk worth taking and given team history perhaps they can resign him to a michael Pineda like deal to recoup some value
  4. I would suggest they at least try celestino at lead off in spring training
  5. First I remember reading towards the beginning of the off-season that AK's wrist bone being shaved down could impact how well he plays or even if he can play well moving forward. Secondly all the focus seems to be on trading for a pitcher where that is a priority I would also offer perhaps AK, Larnach, and Wood-Richardson as a start to Pittsburgh for Reynolds. He gives us a sure fire well rounded outfielder who can play all 3 outfield spots, a definite improvement and help to clear the outfield log jam. A trade like that and Lewis returning in July to take up an outfield spot would give consistency and flexibility to the outfield.
  6. Our starting pitching is pretty deep right now with a big group, gray, Ryan, Ober, mahle, winder, Verlander, and unknown amount of innings from maeda. I'm the minors we have wood Richardson and a hopeful bounce back for canterino and belazovic. I don't pitching should be a free agency priority right now I would say bringing back Correa should be priority 1 for his on field skills and clubhouse presence. Then go for lineup upgrades perhaps dh and catcher. The outfield is already crowded I would start ghe year with buxton Gordon and wallner as the starters with larnach earning playing time and lewis given a spot when he's healthy.
  7. Something no one seems to consider is where will royce Lewis be playing next year when he gets healthy. I know Correa is not likely coming back, but if they do bring him back and retain urshela the twins end up with massive log jam in the outfield and my thoughts fir it are lewis Buxton and waller starting and larnach as of/dh with kirilloff the odd man out at this point considering his wrist issue may be career threatening
  8. As I've said before Sherman's report contradicts what Correa was reported to have actually said, first he likes minnesota and his favorite restaurant juicy Lucy's is in minnesota, second he sees it as a three year deal not a one year deal. Also why would the twins play royce lewis at center field if they are expecting Correa to leave and if hos market to develop this past off-season why would he put himself back into a shortstop heavy class.
  9. My suggestion have the twin wirk on a deal that would include him as an extra piece to go with perhaps months and puk. If his numbers aren't very good right now he wouldn't cost much extra and would still leave the twin pen and rotation upgraded. It wouldn't a cheap trade to get done but it could be a big game changing trade for a play off run
  10. Definitely bring him back but maybe see if the Phillies would throw in a good reliever too
