  1. Has to be Duran. Lopez next, if Duran is unavailable. To even mention Pagan closing games, is beyond insane.
  2. Really like the new format! Looks great! Looking forward to a win on opening day down in KC!
  3. My opinion is...nothing would please the general fan base, and many people that frequent this great website, more than our starters pitching well enough to go deeper in games. No one wants to see starters pulled after 3, 4, or 5 innings. It looks like we may finally have the pitchers to do that. Time will tell.
  4. I want me some of that!
  5. My son went to NDSU in Fargo, and you're like 80 miles further north. Four years of that trek was brutal. The Twin Cities are bad enough...I couldn't take the winters up there. Not fit for man or beast...and this beast likes warmth.
  6. No doubt the weather in Mn most years isn't the greatest. Sure, eventually it'll warm up, but it seems like it takes forever to do it. When the SB is done, I'm ready for MLB, and once ST starts, it really gets me thinking baseball. I've had my fantasy teams set for over a month now too. April is baseball and The Masters. That's all good!
  7. I don't really like Gallo in the #1 spot. I know he walks a lot, but I think he should be hitting way down in the order.
  8. That's a term for old guys like me, when they think about how fast they used to do things.
  9. Yes...let's hope Mahle has a good game and doesn't have any issues. Good to see his velo staying up. Hope everyone gets through the game today with no injuries. Bring on KC!
  10. Just saw they released Jeff Hoffman. Kind of a surprise.
  11. Gray is 100% right, but ultimately it's up to the pitcher to show that he can last more than 3-4-5 innings. If the pitcher is giving up hits/runs, giving up walks, has no command, and generally pitching lousy...he's not going to be in there very long. I sure would like to have this staff go at least 6 innings in most of their starts...that would mean that they're doing their job, and we're probably in the game. We'll see what happens this season.
  12. Maybe Nacho Libre's older, uglier brother?
  13. Who the heck is Jose Bravo?
  14. I know it's off topic, but Hou is beating Stl 24-1 in the 8th inning today. That's amazing in a ST game.
  15. Sorry about that. Forget about the vids...just concentrate on watching us win this game today!
  16. WOW! That was amazing! Loved it! Much better than listen to the announcers on the Sox broadcast.
  17. Honestly...I think it's the Garlic(k), that's REALLY bugging me!
  18. ...or a pizza and a beer.
  19. Understood...and agreed, that getting guys some innings is what's going on. Yawn. Oh well.
  20. I can't say I'm real thrilled with who's in the lineup today.
  21. Yes, it seems to be free on MLB. I'm watching it on my pc right now. Sale looks very good again.
