    Laudner is terrible. I could never understand how he got that job. WAY worse than Dazzle. He needs to stick with the Jeff Belzer commercials.

    Just a brutal game to watch. Only getting 4 hits in that mess, is abysmal. No way that Moran should be in that situation, I hate Pagan, but I would have thrown him in there. I honestly don't know what the deal is with Kep...he looks out of it at times, but he did hit the homer. He looks like he doesn't care anymore. The strikeouts are unbelievable! We're so lost at the plate, it's comical. We better figure out some things real soon, or we'll be doing the slow ride to never-never land again.

    Buxton's been doing his best Sano impression since the season started. He's just brutal. The offense and scoring runs on a consistent basis, is going to be a struggle all season...or at least until Polanco, and maybe Kirilloff get back here...then we'll see if anything changes. We had that Yankee series right there on a platter for the taking, and did nothing the last two games. Let's hope it gets better up in Boston.

    I believe that our lack of any base stealing is both personnel related, and philosophy related. The guys that actually have speed, don't get on base and when they do, it's the wrong situation to attempt a steal. It's also just not something that this coaching staff wants to do. It never has been. As far as Buxton...sure, he has the speed to steal, but his base stealing fundamentals and especially his sliding fundamentals/techniques, are terrible. Every time he slides it's an injury waiting to happen. The league may be stealing more, but we won't be.

    My God...we look abysmal at the plate. Yesterday carried over to today. We might not get a hit, much less score.

    I can't even begin to tell you how much I absolutely HATE that damn whistle noise they play at Yankee Stadium when an opposing player strikes out.
