    I'll admit, I wasn't thrilled with the Gallo signing, but I'm warming to it. The guy HAS to be in the lineup. He can really thump it when he gets a hold of one. He can change a game with that power.

    The weather is supposed to improve as the day goes on. Hopefully, the sun comes out and starts to warm things up. I want to see a quality start from Louie and have him keep the ball in the park. Maybe we can carry over some of that offense from yesterday and help him out. Happy Mother's Day and go Twins!

    If Gallo could just develop a little more consistency, instead of all the peaks and valleys, he'd be a real stud in the lineup. The guy has all kinds of power, and he's an excellent fielder no matter where he plays.

    I was listening to Cory and Danny out in my garage because I had to do some work on one of my mowers. I almost lost it laughing because Dazzle called Dansby Swanson..."Swansby"...and he did it twice! He's our Harry Caray!

    Pretty good chance the start of the game is delayed by rain. At least that...hopefully not a rain out. There's an area of precip just hitting the south metro right now and it looks to be showers off and on this afternoon.

    I'll be listening to Cory and Dazzle tonight. I need to catch up on how many opposing players names that Dazzle can't pronounce. He had a lot of trouble yesterday with Cronenworth.

    They already signed Paddack to an extension. He won't be a free agent until after the 2025 season.

    I definitely can understand the reasoning for the trade, but there's no doubt it didn't work out for us. I don't know that I'd be interested in re-signing him, unless it's one hell of a bargain. For as little as we've actually seen him pitch, it's almost like he was never even here. I think it's probably a good idea to just take the loss on all of it and move on.

    First Paddack...now Mahle. Not the best luck when it comes to trading for pitchers. I suppose we should consider ourselves lucky that Lopez doesn't seem to be heading down this road.

    AK is the only guy in the lineup, that actually looks like he has a plan at the plate. His swing is under control and he isn't trying to go yard on every swing. Unlike EVERYONE else on this team. I hope he retains this mind set, and doesn't become one of the crowd of homer happy teammates. He needs to stay healthy and stay in the lineup.
